Namath finished the game having completed 17 of his 28 passes. He is the only quarterback to win Super Bowl MVP without throwing a touchdown pass.

I was just reading in Don Maynard’s obituary today that he was hobbled by a hamstring industry injury and was only used as a decoy. He caught zero passes. The offensive hero was Matt Snell .

It took 59 minutes for Georgia to put away Alabama last Monday night.

With a better signal-caller, it should have taken about 39 minutes.

RAYCABINO pointed me in the right direction with his opinion on Georgia over Alabama, but I still had to hit the submit button.
