Neveragain
EOG Dedicated
This is the fight that changed boxing forever. Korean contender Duk Koo Kim took a vicious beating at the hands of Ray Mancini.
At one point he was hit 39 times in a row. The ref let the fight go on and after getting knocked out in the 14th round,
Kim collapsed and fell into a coma. He died four days later.
Referee Richard Green and Kim's mother both committed suicide in the following months.
The aftermath of Kim vs. Mancini led to 12-round bouts being the maximum length for prize fights.
