And America today lives with the consequences of emboldened adversaries and shaken allies.”

that would not be a good move to do that... if mattis is going to work for a defense contractor do you think the company would want mattis after he said something while in office.??.. it shows no class. After an employee gets laid off or fired it is just a battle . An employee can always fight another day to win the war.. Every officer knows that in the military.. , as an employee it is something to keep in mind that the war is not over.
