Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

Actually some pretty good info, I would have never thought they would do this.

Surpised though that the players card just doesn't say "sports book purchase" but that it calls out the bet made.

Same here. Learned something new...

How about a line on whether or not Winky's dad cashed the ticket?

Winky is the only one afraid of the Mods......You're going to tell on somebody? lmao then what?

Meatman comes in here and calls JK every thing but white and Joey does his fair share of talking shit and JK does nothing and the only other Mod we have here is Kinger and he doesn't give a fvck.

"Don't make me tell a Mod you're violating the TOS policy" lmao I don't even know what a TOS is.

Good luck on getting paid maybe you should tell the line manager that your going to tell on him if he doesn't help you.....

This in the long run hurts this site and turns a lot of people off, including myself.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

Listen, they can find the ticket in an instant if you used the players card. Go ask them if it's been cashed. If it hasn't, start the lost ticket claim process. You will have to wait till the ticket expires most likely which is no less than 120 days. It may be as long as one year, just depends on when the ticket actually expires. It's not a big deal. It happens all the time. I washed a shirt once that had 10 tickets in the pocket. Turned them into soggy confetti. Took 4 months but
got payed on the winners.

Jeff Jones is a big time vegas gambler and never had this happen to him. He never washes his denium shirt even if he somehow had a winning ticket.

The sportsbook tracks all tickets, right? If it's determined the ticket was cashed before the report was filed I wonder if they would roll tape to determine the identity. Would a sportsbook really help that much? Maybe.

Don't take this to be any kind of defense of lap, Timely, or joey, but dude, pot meet kettle. Can't even tell if you're being serious with this shit considering the whole forum has seen your picture and knows you're an admitted statutory rapist.

Gimme "NO" for the LIMIT! I know he didn't cash it because I didn't hand it to him till we left town and we drove home together. He would have NO CLUE the ticket was a winner unless I told him. Some posts here are humorous, though. I guess I got very lucky in that it is on Sis' Rewards Card so tracking it will be very easy and I'll just wait however long I have to wait to cash it.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

Sis went to the RR on Monday. She slid her Players Card and the 4 bets I made all came up. They saw the 2 winners were cashed and there was 1 losing ticket. The one play not cashed yet was the bet in question. The "froze" the bet so now it can't be cashed. After a certain number of days (Sis wasn't sure but she has the paperwork at home and knows the exact number) she can fill out a form and then a few weeks later stop by and pick up the money from the bet.

I got VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRY LUCKY I scanned the bets in on her Card making tracking them very easy to do. I also learned once again I can't trust my father with anything of importance.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

Congrats Wink, glad you're going to get the cash.

I have a friend who made some futures bets and forgot about them and the book cashed them way after the date....BUT, he's a very good customer and has a good relationship with them.

So, you can get paid on a sports ticket. NOW, its a HORSE ticket and it expires, you're probably SOL.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

Update

The bet was:

Blues U5 +110 and made at the Red Rock

60 days passed since the claim was filed and today the ticket was cashed and I got my money. I am 100% certain it was easier to cash because the bet was made on a Player's Reward Card

So all is good regarding this

I have a person at the red rock that might be able to find out. I think when they swipe the players card, that it might only show how much the bet was rather than what you bet. I'll try and find out for you.

High Times is right

When Sis swiped her card and said the bets were made Nov 25 the bets all came up and they saw all details of the 4 bets I made. They saw one ticket was a loser, 2 were winners and already caashed and 1 winner was still to be paid

That is the single greatest thing about betting offshore on the internet.

Not only will you NEVER have a dumbass ticket writer screw up your bet ....

You can't lose a ticket or have someone else cash your winning ticket.

Use your card everytime. I just sent a pirates over 67.5 wins season total upstairs to accounting, it's older than the 120 day standard we use to claim tickets, but they should cash it. Also try to stop a ticket as soon as it wins or it looks like a winner. Also people usually are nicer with a little tip! just a fact about vegas.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

I checked on this once around town.

The two extremes I ever found were Jerry's Nugget 30 days and Cal-Neva one year. Some joints will fill out the BR-549 Lost Ticket Form as soon as you report it and lock out the bet even pre-result.

Some don't want to mess with the paperwork until you have definately won.

But nobody was ever cantankerous about it.

Re: Trying to cash a winning ticket in Vegas - without the Ticket in Hand

T-giving weekend I am in Vegas. One day while there I make some bets at a Book in town. I can't cash the ticket because the game took place after I left. The bet won. I give the ticket to Dad to cash next time he is in town - which is now.........he left early today for Vegas and will be there till Wed Morning.

I love my father but he isn't the most trustworthy guy on the planet and now he can't find the ticket (I know - shoulda given it to Sis - I wasn't thinking at the time). I know if you lose a winning ticket you might still be able to cash the ticket if you give them tons of info and then wait some period of time......right?

Well - here is a tad bit more of into. Sis has a "Player's Reward Card" at this hotel and when I made the bet I had her card and had them swipe the card so all bets could be added to her card. My feeling is because the bets were swiped on her card they now have a record of the bets I made on her card including the one ticket Dad might have lost that was a winner.

Am I right about the last paragraph? The bet I made should be on her Player's Card making it a tad easier to cash the ticket, right?

What are the chances that if my Father - and Sister - go to the book and explain the fact the ticket can't be found - they might be able to get the ticket cashed the next few days? Or down the line? Or am I................:shoot:

HOPEFULLY we can keep all replies on the subject at hand and not something else where you will have to be reported to the Mods here for violating the TOS of this site (and that will happen if some replies go the way I sadly know they will)[/QUOT

LOL, um excuse me? Who the fuck do you think you are? How dare you...

Had about $1000 worth of tickets between the Golden Nugget and Hilton that I bought on a 4th of July trip about 5 years ago. All of them were futures or NFL/CFL games of the year tickets.

When i got home, my wife did the laundry and washed every damn one of them. They were all ruined.

Both the Nugget and Hilton worked with me. I had all my bets written down and I knew the exact time I placed them. They researched it and found my bets. At the Nugget, I had to fill out a lost ticket form for every single bet I made. Hilton process was a little easier.

In the end, I got paid for every single lost ticket. Had to wait 180 days after the winners were posted to claim the money though.

Is this money laundering?

Seriously, that's what you do . Just document the ticket some way. Player's card, in a written log, or maybe a picture on your phone. That way you don't have to walk into a book cold like a dweeb and say, "I lost my ticket, and I placed it three or four days ago. I had a $100 on the Salamanders just like everyone else did."

FYI,

buddy bets 500 at CET Property on Alabama Monday night. Uses no total rewards card.

Realizes about five minutes prior to game ending he dropped the ticket. Goes to window, explains. They go to the tape and discern his ticket number, and block it. We are alerted about ten minutes later when someone tries to cash it at flamingo, and my buddy gets to go pick up ticket there and cash. Pretty cool. Hassle for me, but decent of CET to care.

Don't ask me how/why, but I must have accidentally thrown out 8 tickets from the Wynn and 5 tickets from LVH little over 2 months ago before the games started. Both casinos locked out the tickets(no one could cash them), but I had to wait 61 days for the Wynn and 120 days for the LVH to pay me.
Just received 2 checks from the Wynn last week, but had to call accounting today and was told they misfiled the other 4(6 of 8 wagers were winners), but will send them out shortly.
Still almost 2 months waiting time left for the LVH......2348ji23e
