United States could be sending everyone a dime

#45
The centerpiece of the Senate Republican proposal -- crafted with support from the White House -- is direct payments to qualified Americans of up to $1,200. Married couples could get $2,400. Taxpayers who earn more than $75,000 annually will begin to see payments reduced by $5 for every $100 they earn over the $75,000 threshold, with those who make more than $99,000 getting nothing. Families with children would get $500 per child.

it looks like this shit will go one for months.

So they will be sending a dime per month.

None of you ever speak ill of socialism ever again
DING DING DING

Your last statement is spot on-when Bernie was in the lead the R’s threw around the socialist/communist tag freely without realizing all the socialist programs this country has had for a long time or ignoring the trump socialist plans like the farmers bailout of 28 billion that is not requested to be paid back

If I receive a check I’m going to spend all of the money to buy gift cards from local family owned businesses and give them away to people who could use the cards more than myself

If I receive a check, I'm saving it for Omaha in 2021. We got fucking ripped off Heisenberg. This was gonna happen this year. I knew it. Dropped a few early. But we were hitting the stride.

2021. Meet me there.

Just put yourselves in the postions of others. Small business owners who barely made it in life before hand. I go to a cafe twice a week that has been around 20 years for breakfast and the owners are older italians, its like a double whammy. More loans? More in debt? Come on. Their employees have no income coming in. There has to be a better way. We are fuxking America.

Its fine and dandy if you are working still, have shelter, have everything in place but all this isnt a joke. There are places hit indirectly who will be impacted at some point. Whenever official unemployment numbers come out, I bet the down goes down to 15000.

Fuck being a dem, a Republican, gay, straight, black, white, famous etc...

There needs to be relief soon otherwise the bad guys will take over. There will be anarchy. Desperate people dont think rationally.

Haha-As long as Smith is head coach Omaha is nothing but a pipe dream. I've become friends with quite a few of the players families an you wouldn't believe some of the stories I've heard.

I was looking forward to meeting you at Muni this year. I tell you what, when this crisis blows over let's PM each other to meet up for a beer sometime

im putting the $1,000 in penn gaming, caesars, and mgm stock

that 1,000 will be 10,000 in 3 years.
I bought Diamond Eagle Acquisition Company (DEAC) after they announced their merger with DraftKings and SB Tech in December. Buying DEAC at the moment is the same as owning DK and it's even better than most IPO's as many aren't aware of the merger yet. They will be changing their market symbol soon to reflect DK. DraftKings and FanDuel have an enormous built in customer information database for legalized online sports gambling. Small time online sports gamblers are lazy for the most part and don't often switch books. That was the reason those 2 companies flooded the airwaves with commercials a few years ago in anticipation of the SCOTUS ruling.

Sounds good man.

And it always sucks when your team/program has a dick as a head coach. It's almost like you have to root for failure in order to get rid of the guy.

Since conservatives are against big government and government handouts, I'll assume every conservative member here will turn down the money, right?
Id at least expect the people who railed constantly against socialism while Bernie was leading in the primaries to not cash their checks. We will soon find out how many trump supporters stand behind their true convictions.

On the flip side, some of my friends on the left said they won’t take anything from Trump, so they are urging everyone to donate the money. Too bad these people make $200K and would never get a dime.

Personally I would rather have my losses from the market.

At this rate my market and retrement losses will be gone before a vaccine is released to the public.

This whole give everyone money plan is ridiculous. How are people who still have their jobs and just work from home going to use extra money? Disposable income stores are closed, no entertainment to go to and no travel. Its just going to go into their savings account or pay off bills. Totally ineffectual use of the money, you can't create demand in this situation.

If they are going to give any money the Dems are right, give it to those who are losing jobs or about to lose them. States won't be able to handle the surge in unemployment anyways and be asking for grants so might as well use the money to supplement unemployment checks and directly pay employees clearly in jeopardy. Then those people will keep spending on the things that remain to be spent on like rent/mortgage, food, and basics.

I'm barely spending a dime sitting around, what with the bars and casino's closed.
