Valenti Rant: Harbaugh contract is a 'complete loss of confidence'

Cutting his contract in half, Michigan gets head coach Jim Harbaugh back. "They don't want you and you don't want to be there," commented Mike Valenti on the relationship between the Wolverines athletic department and Harbaugh.

The opening odds start here
Michigan never learns its lesson, and I could give a days ass as to what his career regular season mark is. He is owned by Ohio St and has been over respected in the preseason poll, guaranteed to lose to at least 2 other underachieving conference teams. Yet they reward him 5 years? I'd sooner trust any other capper in this forum to do better.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Harbaugh and athletic director Warde Manuel, and obtained by the Free Press, the coach will make $4 million in 2021, then $4.101,850, $4,206,756, $4,314,808 and $4,426,102 the following years.

Harbaugh will earn a $500,000 bonus if the Wolverines win the Big Ten East Division outright, $1 million if they win the conference title, $500,000 if they reach the College Football Playoff and $1 million if they win the national title.
