Vegas Casinos/Sports Books

For me its South Point, and Green Valley Ranch,..South Point just has that special betting atmosphere, and its split from the race book which you don't see anywhere else, and they have some nice betting lines which you usually find value with.

Green Valley Ranch is a very nice sportsbook, which has all the comforts of home. One thing about being at the Ranch is that the lighting is much dimmer and South Point is really bright, but for sure Green Valley is a very nice sportsbook

Whats everybody else's choice, love to hear it,...also Palace Station is really nice now with all the upgrading they have done with it

Palace Station was long overdue for an upgrade.

Place looks nice after receiving its first bath and renovations in many years.

Good call with South Point's lighting.

The South Point's cocktail service in the book is good because sports guys tip good and most think they
have a chance with them. OTOH the service around the machines leaves a lot to be desired. You could wait
20 minutes to find a girl to get you a coffee.

20 years ago there were lots of comfortbale sports books, Ballys, Mirage, Desert Inn, Stardust, Imperial Palace, Barbary Coast were the top ones back in 1999

I dislike South Point because too many dirtbags chain smoking.

They need to go non-smoking.

I like going to Palace Station for the Oyster Bar.... Combo Pan Roasts ... expensive but like that meal after a Big Poker Win and a good CFB Day

Will CG Tech have two lines for Nevada & NJ when they open up on the East Coast before football?

I'll be there in a few weeks and SP will be one of my regular places to have a cocktail and place a few bets.

I liked the tables at WG more than the current setup. The huge screens aren't something I really enjoy.

The Gold Coast always has been among my favorites, but smoking is heavy there. However, I keep going back because their parking is among the most convenient along my usual routes.

It’s an absolute joke many Strip books charge for seats now during peak times. Like NFL Sundays. Don’t pay it people.

Boycott.

Only 2 things will fix the Strip’s value problem:

A.) A massive increase in competition (Like either Caesars or MGM being broken into a bunch of pieces)

B.) A sustained economic downturn causing visitor numbers and spend-per-visitor to crater.

A.) would be a much preferable option, but I just don’t see Eldorado selling off that many pieces of the Caesars empire.

These greedy clowns are going to have to learn the hard way, I fear.

The air quality at the Gold Coast has to be one of the worst. But they and the Orleans are very horse player friendly, hosting numerous tourneys. They also have a shuttle to the Strip every 15 minutes or so.

like factsman said " they will probably will charge people to go in one day "

I could see it one day for the strip casinos

they have the plan set...........best guess by 2022

this is what you will see in the bigger casinos

pay $20 for a wristband good for $24 hours

$10 free slot play
$10 table voucher
$ 50% off the buffet

this now forces the jerk offs sightseeing in the casinos.
NOW they have to go in there pocket

casino figures once you open the wallet once
your sticking your cock in a lion's mouth
because you will do it again

the casinos will spin it where they market
free slot play
free table play
free buffet or 50% off
and a chance at 1 million dollars with a free spin of the promo wheel
that will hit once every 20 years.

trust me its coming..............i know these marketing
bean counting cock suckers personally.............its on the table

yes 100% agree. I just didn't know how they would do it. It is the wristband that makes it work. When the people get off the plane they won't know it until they check in or maybe check out like the resort fees. Nobody ever reads the fine print. LOL

Its Vegas, not India. This kind of shit exists in markets where casinos are a rarity and they have to pay off the tax man at a rapacious level. Vegas casinos don't fall into those categories.

Stardust was my all time favorite,it was the best atmosphere ever

Yea the lighting is like being under a spotlight.,but if a seat is free in the lounge where its nice and dim i'll go there

Well for one i don't visit the strip at all and the parking fee deal clinched that for me,and now charging for seats, thats crazy, unless i don't exactly know where you are talking about

I wish they start charging to enter the casino. I don't want the riff raff coming in and standing next to me while I am playing craps. They are unlucky. This is why I lost for the last 40 years.

Bushay and I were discussing the SP last night. I would love to go there. I liked Red Rock, looking forward to Circa.

Caesars charges 50 to 100 a seat and 250 for VIP. VIP includes all you can drink. So if you think you can drink $250 worth of alcohol, Its a good deal!!

South Point is nice and spacious plus they give you drink tickets. The writers are friendly usually.

Red Rock is one of my favorites also,i just wish it was closer than it is.I've stayed there a couple times and the rooms are pretty nice. The Sports Book is really nice to.

When staying there,i hit 2 royal flushes in 3 days, plus some smaller wins also,so i believe the machines are looser there.

They are also pretty good with drink tickets, and you don't have to bet a certain amount to get them

In March i was invited in the booth that Brent Musberger and his guys do their daily shows, and it was a hell of an experience, and all the guys were real nice

Congrats on the wins.

However, there is no such thing as looser machines from a video poker standpoint in the state of Nevada.
All machines are regulated by the state to a top payback percentage based on their paytables when played with best strategy.
