I know you are a numbers guy, so i have a question for you?

Since the inception of the 3 point line has changed the game and complexivity of basketball, what is consider a good middle in your opinion?


I would think anything less than 3 is a waste of time so IMO I'm thinking 4.5-6 at least to be considered......

Now I would think that the best way to middle in BB is at the half as you can get many good middles this way. I'm not a middle type of player so just asking for some wisdom in this subject....

I don't know the exact math, but you definately don't need a 4-6 point difference to make a middle worth trying. Anything 2.5 points and above I would think there is some value in.
