Was Tex A&M more worried about covering than winning

I said that A&M got the bone head coach play of the game because after a score and being up 1 late in the game they kicked the extra point to go up 2 instead of trying to make it a 3 pt game. The spread was 1.5 so the kick was covering. They ended up losing because Clemson kicked that last FG. Was A&M just trying to cover?

Absolutely just for the cover. If it wasn't than the coach needs to be given the fudamentals about #'s then,lol. If anyone thinks it wasn't for the cover than they don't believe there is gambling going on by coaches, players, and refs,lol,!!
