my buddy’s in Vegas and they told him it’s void, no bet and he gets a refund. I’d want the bet to stand removing Oregon and I get 3.6-1 on my Abilene Christian bet.

Yes, it just reduces to the 2 teamer Maryland ML and Abilene Christian +8.5, whatever that pays. The only things that reduce to no action with a cancellation or push are a straight bet, an n team parlay with n cancellations or a n team teaser with n-1 cancellations.

This would be a scandal. It would mean William Hill is guilty of scamming a player. Or they have rule that scams players and they should be avoided - especially during the covid era where any game at any time could be canceled. Pretty sure losing tickets wouldn't be canceled because of 1 covid.

He said he talked to supervisor at Planet Hollywood and was told the ticket was voided because of the cancelled game and the ticket would be refunded. Shitty rule.

There's got to be more to this story? Some of the books I play at have a promo called parlay insurance. Play a 3+ team parlay and only one leg losses, bet is then refunded. This is the one time I agree with everything DD says. Seems very scandalous that a 3 team parlay that goes 2 and 0 with a void would void the winning ticket, unless it was a wager on some sort of parlay promotion.

Nothing more to the story. My friend was in Vegas and we all pooled some bets while he was there. He was part of the group and sent us a screen shot of the ticket. The parlay was not bet on a promotion. I agree it’s a shit ruling and asked him to press the supervision on it. He did and was told the ticket is void and would be refunded.

I wouldn't stand for it. Can you imagine if you put together a 6 team parlay paying 75-1 and one of the legs gets canceled. You win the other 5 legs and the supervisor tells you the entire wager is canceled. Ouch!

Unfortunately my friend in Vegas is a novice and doesn’t want to or is afraid to put up fight. I’m going to contact William Hill today. It’s a peanut sized bet $25 and would have paid $96 with the +155 & -110 bets winning but I still don’t like being cheated.
