If you are going to be doing it full time I wouldn't bother with posting picks. Maybe a few here and there, but you will be more busy watching and waiting.

You also never want to post a pick you have not played. Sounds crazy, but good practice. If you want it to move your way, or are looking for something in particular, even having a few guys bet it can hurt.
Bascically it looks like you want to "retire" from your business, keep it around as insurance and try gambling because it is mre exciting.

Thats another thing, if you are trying to make money at it, it is far from exciting, and pretty much the most boring thing going.

Keeping the emotions, and gambling out ofgambling are the most important things. Handicapping and money management are overrated. Any clown can make money if he can do math and know what he has to bet at -105 and +110 to profit both ways. That involves no handicapping, no gambling, no money management, and very little emotion (except the joy you get finding it) But is far more profittable and will get you a lot further than anything else in this business will get you.

exactly............gambling for a living is just another 9-5 job......when you break it down...........it only sounds exciting to someone else....

the flashy guy who tips $100 dollar bills to the valet.....the guy dressed in a shiny suit, the guy with a pinky ring as big as a half-dollar??


no.....more often than not he is the guy you dont even look twice at....

he may be the guy who comes into the sportsbook walks up to the cage makes his bets and is out the door before you can get a good look at him....

his clothes?? most likely he hasnt bought a pair of new shoes in a decade...same with his suit....it still fits so why not........he is probably not the most talkative guy in the world either.....he may make polite conversation, but dont expect him to be the center of attention..

the personality traits of the successfull gambler are that of a introvert, thinker, someone who see's facts not what ifs.....a numbers guy...bad beats happen to him...but he doesnt blow a gasket like most other gamblers..

he is the guy that picks a penny up off the ground.......not because he is cheap, but because its just his nature.....if his figure is $875.05......then $875.05 is what he wants not $875 even.....

Stinger ~ look at kelly rather than flat betting. If you played 4% of your bankroll and had all 11/10 bets and hit 55% after a 1,000 plays your bankroll would be $179,000 if you played 5% it would be $196,000.

If you think you can hit that % then I would say you could make a nice living. There are allot of unhappy people going to work everyday doing things they hate and making good money. Follow your heart and you will be happy and you won't get old wondering what if!!!
