The Warriors have more picks to send, but no young talent. If I'm the Bucks I would rather take the young talent the Heat has to offer, here's how I look at it. Let's say in the next NBA draft Tyler Herro and Kelel Ware were draft eligible, both if them are easily top 10 picks, probably top 5. Those picks they would be getting from GS could be in the 20's where they would never get a player like Herro or Ware. I don't understand why people are so enamored with GS and their picks, none of those picks would be in the lottery, they could get two players who are still young that would go top 5 in the next draft, and that's not even including the other couple of young players, right now the Heat can offer two picks, GS can offer four, but no way to know how good any of those four picks will end up being, why not take Herro and Ware, two guys you know are good and in Ware's case has a ton of upside, you know what you're getting with them versus the unknown with GS. And I'm not saying this as a Heat fan, I'm just being honest. None of GS's picks will be high, Herro and Ware go top five in the next draft. I saw where there's a report saying they don't want Herro, then trade for him and flip him, I'm sure there would be plenty of teams interested, they could get a pick plus maybe a young player for him. Either way, IMO the Heat's offer is better than GS'sThis is rigged just like everything else. The league decides where Freak goes. They want him to go to Golden State.
Considering the way the league orchestrated the Luka to LA deal, and the way Dildo Head refuses to do the right thing regarding the way Charlotte conned the Heat, I'm starting to think it's rigged to keep Curry's championship window open a few more years, no other way to explain why they would take the worser package of GS instead of the Heat's. The Bucks know Giannis to Miami makes them contenders, especially in the weaker East, but shipping him out West doesn't turn GS into contenders, they'll do it to fuck himAll of these reports about what Freak wants are irrelevant. He has no say or control other than demanding a trade. He will go where Silver wants.
Of course the Bucks will play one team off the other trying to get as much as they can, but what else could the Heat do? How about Herro, Ware, Jovic, JJJ, Larsson, Wiggins, the Rook and two picks? Would that be enough? At some point too much is too much, what the Heat are supposedly offering is fair, they can't completely gut their team
Problem solvedunless I block.
Yes, but considering he's a FA after the season, his contract is a very enticing trade piece to a team seeking salary cap space. If a team trades for him, his 26M salary comes off that team's books, the good thing is if we keep him, his money comes off the books at season's end, the Heat could then use that 26M to spend elsewhere. Can the trade happen without Rozier?
I tend to agree, that one other can be JJJ, Jovic, or Larsson, but not all three of themHerro, Ware, Illinois rook (have trouble remembering named) and 1 more like JJ along with picks. That's it. If not good enough, grab Ja and go to the tape.
Love the kid, love the way he plays the game, a steal in the second round, but if they want him instead of JJJ, you make the deal. Like I said, at some point you have to decide how many players you want to give up, if they want him in addition to all the other players, you have to decide if gutting your team is worth it
Agree, if the Bucks demand both, walk away from the table and see if the Bucks blinkJJJ or Larson not both.
