You think those are gonna be tough things to repeat for someone like Doc?
Honest question.
lol
Obviously doc is going to score a ton more in Philly playing on a better team in the NL than in Toronto in the AL East, so yes it's much more probable he's closer to 700 or passes last years numbers than closer to his Toronto numbers.
you are also showing cc stats when he was a freaking brewer here :LMAO
you are like the Miami Heat
You build your team around superstars and nothing else
My guys are role players to the uber studs
As i pointed out already Doc's offense wasn't good last year anyways.Tripp you do this with all of your players...
Your player is going to get better than last year for some unexplainable reason - not sure how Doc is going to improve on career high numbers for him and suddenly add 40 more points to his already career high total. All of this while CC decreases for some unexplainable reason - OH yeah, their offense isn't as good as last year which argument can be used for Doc as well.
I asked if you thought 21 wins and 4 shutouts were tough stats to repeat for doc...625 this year.
I post stats that prove otherwise, and they are fucking with me and do otherwise and you fall for it. :shoot:Was funnies seeing timely act like thorton is more than a lefty specialist
Amazing how he thinks he wins all these arguments and everyone else is "dumb"
Lets see. Guys who win games like TTP/TN or last place timely. I wonder which guy knows bases outta them..

Matt Thornton - the only lefty specialist All-Star in MLB history.
Since Thornton agreed to the extension, there has been a lot of talk about whether he is now the favorite to take over the closer role this season. Thornton has mainly been a set-up man throughout his career, and that may be one of the main reasons this deal is such a bargain for the White Sox. Despite the fact that Thornton was the better pitcher over the past three seasons, Bobby Jenks still managed to sign for more money this off-season due to his “experience” as a closer. As the White Sox “relief ace,” Thornton pitched at the most crucial moments in a game instead of racking up saves, which likely held his cost down. The White Sox employed Thornton in an ideal manner over the past three seasons, and it has allowed them to save money over the course of his extension.u think there's no difference between the 8th and 9th inn. So no reason to argue. I'll just sit back and laugh
There's no rule saying only closers get to make the all star game. Pretty sure specialists make it. didn't okajima make it before?
Cee he's not a specialist you dumb ass. What don't you understand. What is his specialty? He was better vs right handed batters last year than Papelbon. He was better last year vs righties (in the same amount of innings pitched) as Heath Bell, your keeper. You really don't know what you're talking about and it's embarrassing.I'm not sure what u are arguing here. Thornton is a good specialist, no one said he wasn't. He's not closing every game this year since he's not a top closer...
