I dont even know how to access these newsgroups anymore with outlook and my internet provider.

But when I first saw these 13-14 years ago I thought I was in heaven.

A place to share picks, meet people, complain, get inside info, and see there were some real "characters" out there with this gambling interest!

Before watchdog sites like this.

Who started there? did you keep the same name? Anyone check on those news net sites anymore? Is there stuff there besides porn and ads?

I used to check in there. There were some angry, disfucntional people there.

They used to make fun of people who used WebTV because it wasn't a real computer. Ridiculous.

I used to read that one, but if you ever lost it in your bookmarks, it was kinda hard to find, you had to you to "groups" on google or somethingto find it.

I only used them newsgroups that are downloaded into your outlook express and if you are looking for a virus, then there ya go. A sure fire way. Also, don't post your email either. :doh1
