Do or die spots now for Aces to gain first round bye.....Not sure what happened. Did they peak too soon? Not
the same team that was winning by DD around AS break. Seems like they've regressed since Wilson came
back. Looking to play them tomorrow assuming premium not too high re must win in Indy.

In the end, I think Washington and Las Vegas will be last two teams playing in the WNBA this year.

Teams should try to get on the opposite half of Washington's playoff bracket.

The Mystics this season are an outstanding team.

They share the ball and shoot the lights out.

The injury to KristI Toliver did not really slow them down.

Toliver has missed the last six games with a knee injury.

As for Vegas, the Aces are hard to figure out.

Liz Cambage can play angry and A'ja Wilson should follow her lead.

Physical teams win in the WNBA and Laimbeer knows that style well.

Think Detroit Pistons AND Detroit Shock.

Wonder if the Las Vegas backcourt is good enough to win it all?

Cambage and Wilson are among the top 10 frontcourt players in the league.

I like Sugar off the bench.....her nickname should bet 'the microwave'....

Plum can only go left and teams know that and her outside shot is too inconsistent.

Young lacks a outside
shot too but at least she can go to the rim.

Give Aces Jazmine Thomas & they're probably champs.

Laimbeer likes Sugar's toughness.

She's been on his roster in the past.

Kayla McBride is a player though I've seen her at times come up small in big spots.

From ESPN's WNBA guy:

"Because they've got the league's best record and the inside track on the No. 1 seed, the Mystics are heavy favorites to win this year's title according to betting markets. Caesars Sportsbook currently has them at even odds for the championship, a fair bet if Washington was expected to win exactly half the time.

However, my simulations of the remainder of the WNBA season indicate even that might understate how likely the Mystics are to hoist the trophy come October. When I posted those results earlier this month, readers were surprised to see Washington winning the championship 80 percent of the time. That percentage has only increased since then. Based on results through Sunday's games, the Mystics now win in 84 percent of my simulations."

Washington is peaking at just the right time.

They've won 12 games this season by 20 or more points.

JK, It just seems too easy. I see their point differential is 3rd best all-time too. I'm still sticking with CONN in
the playoffs. I like that there starting unit has stayed in tact every game.

Not good enough, Heim.

The two Thomases and not much else.

Jones and Stricklen are too inconsistent and the little point guard, Courtney Williams, is quick but too small.

My favorite player on the team is fast-improving Bria Holmes.

Done with the Aces....very uninspired performance yesterday....Indiana who has a 5% chance to make playoffs completely
out-played a team fighting for a bye. Aces have stopped playing defense which is a tell they're a tired team. Because
we all know everyone hustles on offense.

Cambage has a bizarre personality.

Laimbeer has mellowed at age 62.

And the Las Vegas guards are undersized.

TYVM Morgan William!!!
I would be shocked if Washington doesnt win it all this season...

Agree. But they are one EDD injury away from seeing it all fall apart and knowing EDD's injury history would any of us really be all that shocked if she got hurt near the end of the season or in the playoffs and missed the Finals - and if that happens I don't know who WILL win the title but I know who WON'T!

I wanted to see more of how Sky would have handled Griner.

It would have been a challenge for Chicago.

The Sky led by only three at halftime, but won by 29 in the end.

Chicago's interior defense is soft.

The Sky this season allowed the most points in the paint.

Cambage will be hard to handle this Sunday.

Chicago's starting backcourt is an offensive juggernaut.

Great chemistry displayed by the combo of Vandersloot and Quigley.

They should have great chemistry.

They're married.

Imagine how much better they would be if they chose the player at #6 in the draft instead of #4

I don't know where to begin with Laimbeer...Never double teamed Delle Donne all night, biggest shot of the season down 91-90 and he has his little point guard take a contested two when Cambage has been dominating all night. Too bad...they outplayed Mystic. Still like Connecticut to win it all.
