I decided to put this down in an email because we always seem to be cut short on IM. lol
First let me start by saying I am a very appreciative person and appreciate anything anybody does to try and help me out and it seemed like you thought enough of me to bring me into the new Rx Odds , so for that I was thankful, considering I had half my pay chopped off earlier this year, I figured this would be a way to have a more defined role and do something I would enjoy, which for the most part I did, besides the early hour....I was very excited about the new role and possibility of more income, I went out and bought Tv's and a new computer so I would have a solid backup...Frank had told me this would all be important in the near future and how me him and Josh were the big 3 who would be relied on to make this work.
I guess from your last email that does leave me out though, as I won't be moving to Las Vegas.
I don't want to leave the Rx, honestly I am not even sure what I will do with the time I spent doing it, but I will get over it...I can make better use of the time, it might not be as fun but more productive.
I had been thinking about leaving for the last couple weeks, especially the past week....there is no job security , it seems at any time it can be taken away, that is a concern I have had ever since losing half my pay, when I first was hired I worked a full day with my business and worked on the site around that, over the past couple years its become the opposite , we all put in a ton of time, and I think most people don't realize that, no matter how much time we all put in it still feels like 'day to day', obviously I can't replace this job with one of its kind very easily, although I was asked recently to help with another site (not a site in competition with theRx)
If there was some sort of guarantee I would keep this job and pay with chance for advancing still, that would help a lot...I don't know about that though or how that could be.
When you asked me if I was interested in doing the injury updates, the first thing you said was I would get more pay than being a mod which of course sounded great, and now I am left out because I live on the other side of the country.
I would like to talk to the person who is in charge of paying me and then decide ... Way back when Roy told me anytime I needed anything to contact him, but shortly after that he faded out, then you came a long later that same year and here we are, so I guess you are the one in charge of that.
This is something totally off the point but important- Wilheim should not be making all the decisions without asking what others think, Wil does a great job but some of the things he does are questionable, and the way he treats people, he has a way of showing little to no respect, whether he tries to intentionally or not he does it, the books may directly pay the Rx but it comes from the same posters he's taking shots at...
I have heard it countless times over the years since he's been head mod...other mods and popular posters have mentioned it to me, we have lost some great posters because of 'his way' I guess it doesn't matter all that much in the big picture...just yesterday he was downright rude to the poster who had been waiting three weeks to be paid, like it was the posters fault, and basically told the guy to take a hike , which he did....this was a poster I felt was a good poster who had become a regular and even put up money in TWO contests, 'take a hike' ...I mean cmon what is that? He can't always look like that, he never even considers the poster, always the book, and people see right thru it....he should be more for the posters or at least 'appear' to be, the advertisers will be better off in the long run.
I guess that's all I have.
