That's ridiculous, all they need to do is speak as one, announce publicaly that every citizen, every business, needs to defy the Govs orders , announce that they will stand with them as one, with the police they control backing them, when the state police come you block them and turn them back. Whiny little threats about creating health depts accomplish nothing.
I work in Mich, Ind, and Illinois. Indiana is the most lax, Mich is the toughest. Chicago area is pretty close to Mich. Where it comes undone is when the Chicago people go to their second homes in Michigan and feel they don’t have to obey those laws. Is that a blue state vs red state issue? No, it’s a dumbass people issue.

You are missing the point dummy, you act like the only consideration is how many cases there are, the economies in red states are in far better positions than blue states, with unemployment rates and business closures at very manageable(and recoverable) levels.
The goal is not to "beat" the virus, that's impossible as we've seen, the goal is to live with it and get through the worst of the pandemic with as little overall cost overall as possible. Red states are thriving, living at least reasonably normal lives, blue states are in a continual panic.

Exactly, that's why you need the mayors and local/county police to block them, turn any state officials back, even arrest them, and then you continue to serve alcohol anyway without a license. People need to stand together. The state leaders under these corrupt govs will never back down unless they are forced to. A governor like Whitmer is in a very weak position, her power is an illusion, once enough people start ignoring her edicts it's over. If she was told that 95% of all bars/restaurants/health clubs, etc are open in outstate Mi she would be helpless.
Yea, what's going on with that, how come all this remdesivier, blood plasma treatment, and now the anti body stuff trump got hasn't made a difference? I cant wait for the vaccine, thye're going to give it to hundreds of thousands of nursing home patients, some of whom will surely die soon after, which will cause massive hysteria, etc, should make for a good show.
