Your Level of Concern About the Coronavirus......on a scale of 1-10

My level of concern of the virus is zero because it is just a flu. The probability to die is 2% percent or somewhere near. If you do exercise and eat healthy you will not have any problem. We are humans, we are very strong and our body(and mind) can overcome much more difficult situations.

Anyone else other than the D Bag math guys still think Sweden nailed it?

I think Merlintard was big on Sweden's fukk Covid policy too, many of the great right thinkers *(pass Gr. 10) thought we should have let it rip here. Donkeyfakker was another.

What happened to the level of concern for this virus? Destroying cities way more important it seems. To each his own I guess.

hey bobbo throw some math at this dude, he looks bummed out that he killed his own folk.

maybe some of that rolling average shit you do for a feel good.

crazy, they allowed 10x more people die than needed to

Sweden had recorded mind boggling highs in new cases in the last two days, meanwhile Norway has basically extinguished CV for now. Norway has opened up tourism again, with the exception that Swedes are not allowed to cross their 1000 mile shared border into Norway.

I guess you can respect the fact the guy leading the response in Sweden is owning up to it, but that's gotta be hard for him to sleep at night.

For all the loss Swedes have endured, there has been no associated economic gain, which is what many claimed was the saving grace of the Swedish approach. According to the European Commission, Sweden’s economic forecast of a 6% reduction in GDP for 2020 is on par with its neighbors, Norway and Denmark who implemented much stricter lockdown measures.

They had 4500 deaths and you guys are acting like they lost 25% of their population or that the possibility of an outbreak in neighboring countries is guaranteed not to happen in the future.

You have to give credit to their Top Doctor leading the response for admitting his mistakes. But you have to wonder if he is worried for his job, but more importantly we will see quick back peddling from politicians. When does Sweden have elections next?

will be interesting to watch this commission. If they go too far, we'll see it used as proof by libtards that want to keep us locked up until 2022. C'mon Sweden, stand firm, stay the course.

Asked whether too many people in Sweden had died, he replied: “Yes, absolutely,” adding that the country would “have to consider in the future whether there was a way of preventing” such a high toll.

Sweden’s death rate per capita was the highest in the world over the seven days to 2 June, figures suggest. This week the government bowed to mounting opposition pressure and promised to set up a commission to look into its Covid-19 strategy.

U of Pittsburgh doc says COVID-19 losing potency. This follows similar trajectory as Italy

I think i've read or hear comments from about 3 geographic locations now to that point, and this needs to be the hope and is great news if true. In some areas with stable testing that saw increases in positive cases but deaths going down 4-8 weeks later still, suggests that more people are recovering that caught it later on.

I think a key question is, are the viral loads that people are presenting with the result of a weaker virus, or just less actual particles being hosted due to people changing behaviors.

maybe some answers from the shitholes over run with shoulder to shoulder rioters shouting out the top of their lungs will shed some light on that in the coming weeks

A report out today from the UK that around 50% of the population are not able to contract the virus, if true that further changes the math for the better.

Any hospitals in Sweden seeing a year's worth of suicide attempts in four weeks?
Or delayed emergency room visits for strokes, heart attacks, cancer diagnoses, and everything else.

By the way, that swedish guy didn't say they should have done what the others did, he said maybe they should have modified their approach, that's a big difference from admitting they did the wrong thing.

Not when 40%+ of their population is immune, which apparently is the case in stockholm right now.

that would be good news! but not so great for the people that already contracted it....

Anyone dying yesterday probably contracted the virus 4-5-6 weeks ago, do you disagree with that?

Anyone contracting the virus yesterday, has a small chance of dying in 4-5-6 weeks later, do you disagree with that?

8% of all the total cases in Sweden for the past 3 months, just happened in the last two days. Hopefully its some weird aberation or numbers dump. but it's not great news for the 3000+ if they did indeed just contract it in the past two days

The ones dying now were infected long ago, we know that, the ones infected today may not die at the same rate 4-6 weeks from now. That is not certain.

I see sweden had a huge day a couple days ago, that was almost certainly some kind of statistical catch up.

The Lancet, one of the world’s most prestigious medical journals, has retracted a major study that had claimed that experimental treatment of COVID-19 patients with malaria drugs chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine may be worsening the disease outcome in many.

Based on the study published in the journal on May 22, the World Health Organisation had suspended the HCQ arm of its global Solidarity Trial that it is conducting in over 100 countries to see if five repurposed drugs or drug combinations can help cure novel coronavirus infection.

However, a few days back it emerged that the study “Hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine with or without a macrolide for treatment of COVID-19: a multinational registry analysis” may have been flawed as concerns were raised on the veracity of the data, on which it was based.

It was revealed that the primary data used in the scientific paper was provided by a company called Surgisphere, which though claims to have one of the largest and fastest hospital databases in the world but had no scientific expertise in data collection.

The dataset provided by the company had also been used in another paper published in The New England Journal of Medicine. As it emerged that these papers would have been faulty, the WHO had resumed the HCQ arm of the Solidarity Trial earlier this week.In a statement issued on Thursday night, The Lancet meanwhile said that three of the authors of the paper have have retracted their study.

“They were unable to complete an independent audit of the data underpinning their analysis. As a result, they have concluded that they can no longer vouch for the veracity of the primary data sources,” the journal said. It added that the journal takes issues of scientific integrity extremely seriously, and there are many outstanding questions about Surgisphere and the data that were allegedly included in this study.

A statement by the three of the paper’s author associated with three US institutions including Harvard Medical School, shared by The Lancet said that after the publication of the Lancet article, several concerns were raised with respect to the veracity of the data and analyses conducted by Surgisphere Corporation and its founder and the co-author, Sapan Desai.“

We launched an independent third-party peer review of Surgisphere with the consent of Sapan Desai to evaluate the origination of the database elements, to confirm the completeness of the database, and to replicate the analyses presented in the paper,” said the authors. They added. “Our independent peer reviewers informed us that Surgisphere would not transfer the full dataset, client contracts, and the full ISO audit report to their servers for analysis as such transfer would violate client agreements and confidentiality requirements.”

The reviewers were not able to conduct an independent and private peer review and therefore notified of their withdrawal from the peer-review process.

The authors said that they entered this collaboration to contribute in good faith and at a time of great need during the COVID-19 pandemic.“We deeply apologise to you, the editors, and the journal readership for any embarrassment or inconvenience that this may have caused,” said their note.

Yes , let's get that false sense of security built on the worst full economy Y/Y numbers you will ever see over the span of your lifetime for total employment and watch the FED drown in that quicksand. All that free money now liquid, with nothing to buy for almost a year until productivity returns.

Watch all the high on their horse smart fukkers kiss Turnip's ass till their lips get stuck. Remind them what they said about Barry's recovery chart when Barry blew 1/10 the money.

Apples and oranges arguments galore, finger pointing, more riots, hungry folk. 15000 ultra rich guys watching it on yatch, mountain home, Switzerland, Curacao, Aruba needing dump trucks for foreign funds.

Sinker gives no fukks, he been ready for months, been coming since the election of the Turnip.

Goin to pan some gold and chill, nobody around for miles.

Enjoy your day, you fukkin gerbils.

another 1,000 new cases tallied for Friday for Sweden.

12% of their total 43,000 cases have come in the last 4 days, as the last 3 days have all been higher than any other day they've ever had.

not sure what is going on there. But it ain't getting any positive effects of herd immunity yet.

seems to be the opposite

Yup. The employment numbers were only 9.5 million jobs in the black compared to estimates and businesses are just beginning to open again.

The sky is falling! LOL.

The same idiot that laughed when I said we'd have record markets by November. Well, we're only five months early. Stick to sifting dirt. You're not cut out for this stuff.

They added in 240 accumulated deaths and about 4800 cases from the past, I think their real death total today was 21.

NOTE: Michigan is now reporting probable COVID-19 cases and deaths. These are added to the confirmed ones in order to form the total, as per CDC guidelines. 4,928 probable cases and 240 probable deaths are being added to the Michigan total today. These will be soon redistributed historically based on Michigan's confirmed trends. "Probable cases include individuals with COVID-19 symptoms and an epidemiologic link to confirmed COVID-19, but no diagnostic test"

Michigan Supreme Court Unanimously Sides with 77-Year-Old Barber over Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

In a unanimous 7-0 decision, the Michigan Supreme Court sided with 77-year-old barber Karl Manke over Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday.
Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel have been relentlessly pursuing Manke, attempting to force the closure of his shop during the coronavirus pandemic.
Great Lakes News reported on Facebook late Friday that the Court ruled unanimously in favor of the Owosso barber — a stunning decision, given the narrow 4-3 ideological split in favor of conservatives.
