I'm in Mn and we have the highest cases per capita in the nation, the liberal local media is beating the covid, covid, covid drums non stop, meanwhile few wear masks, even in casino's etc, it's completely 100% normal, it's rare to see a store worker masked. Our governor no longer has the power to do anything, it's great.

Watching this slow motion trainwreck as the vaccines fail is truly wonderful.

Exactly, there are many nations. islands, cities, etc with almost everyone vaxxed and it didn't change a thing. Just today there's a story of 88 seniors catching covid in a nursing home in CT(a few died) and all but 2 of the 88 were vaccinated. Vaccinating more people woont make things better and quite possible could make things worse.

The good news is it looks like with the exception of the most lunatic blue areas masks are done, it looks like there will never be a nationwide vaccine mandate. So in the vast majority of the country this winter,, no matter how high cases get, no matter how full the hospitals get, life will be basically normal.

Student athletes win court battle as university abandons vaccine mandate

Student athletes at Western Michigan University can continue playing college sports without getting the COVID vaccine thanks to a settlement reached Tuesday between the students and the school.
Under the agreement, the student athletes still have to wear masks when appropriate and take COVID tests, but they do not have to get the vaccine against their religious convictions.
The university and student athletes released a joint statement on the outcome, which was posted on the website of the Great Lakes Justice Center, which represented the students:
“The student athletes involved in the vaccine lawsuit and Western Michigan University have reached a settlement of the pending litigation, allowing both parties to move forward. The settlement entails the students in the suit being awarded permanent relief from the athletics vaccine mandate, although they will continue to abide by testing and masking requirements. The University will pay their legal fees in the amount of $34,000. The Court of Appeals acknowledged that all parties were acting in good faith. The University wishes the student athletes well in their academic and athletic careers, and the student athletes are excited to continue their academic and athletic careers at WMU.”

First of all Florida was one of the hardest hits states from Covid, second Florida wasn't shut down for a week or two, the state was locked down much longer than that, third, things here haven't been totally normal since the lockdown, and fourth, we aren't exactly thriving. Other than that, this is all correct

Fair enough, now use that same criteria and talk about how normal it's been in Ny, NJ, CA, Wa, etc?

I remember in july of 2020 taking a trip to SD to get away from MN and the covid hysteria, nationwide things were still at a fever pitch, i go out there and there were no masks, no BS, restaurants were open, buffets were open, the casino's were busy. I commented to a BJ dealer how different it is from where I was from - he looked at me and said "we're not participating in covid.".

In most of america if you got more than 30 miles from big cities life has been completely normal for a long, long time.
