He always has movement. Then he starts nibbling and the walks and pitch counts mount. But the sabermatricians love him because he has a swinging strike rate.

He's not a good pitcher to back with your hard earned money.

Didnt bet the game but he was really really good tonight especially after the outing he had against the Reds. I was hoping he would blank Phillies tonight then go on a winning run.

I'm not doing it now.

I would probably fade Arrieta next time out as he took advantage of good sequencing, in addition to poor hitting conditions.

But Darvish also benefitted from the conditions. When its cold and the wind is blowing in, virtually impossible to hit one out. Harper had his highest exit velo this year on a rocket he hit that Heyward made a good play on.
