These games today should be entertaining with 3 matches all featuring the smaller teams of the World Cup in all the matches today,hard t call matches like these but i'll try.

Romanian Rugby was at it's best in the 80's when they beat Wales and France and almost beat the All Blacks,they looked destined to join the 5 Nations as it was back then but alas it was not to be,Today Romania get their chance to show the Rugby Union world what could of been,recent results are'nt good losing 43-12 to Ireland,62-14 to France,48-6 to Scotland and 66-7 to Wales,most of the Romanian Rugby Side live outside Romania and ply their trade in France in the lower divisions,however their last match against Italy was 3 years ago a match they won 25-24 they lost the previous two against Italy 27-17 in 2002 and 37-17 in 2000.they have however eaten the Italian B side this year in May 19-8.

Italy on the other hand will be looking for redemption against Romania after their disastorus start against the All Blacks,I would'nt read to much into the All Black game, most sides will wilt under the pressure of playing the All Blacks most before the game has even started.And Italy did field a weakened side for that match.Today Italy roll out their best side but in truth the damage has already been done,the loss against the All Blacks was expected but the Italians had hoped for better,but those in the know knew that the Italians would be beaten and beaten well by the All Blacks.

This match shapes as an intresting one,there is no love lost between the two sides here and Romania would love nothing more to inflict another loss on their more fancied opponents and believe it or not that could be a reality,the Romanians have a side like the Geogians who played yesterday the majority of their players live and play in France so support will be there for them,Romania are not expected to win while Italy are heavily favoured to beat them and win well also,this will not be lost on the Romanians and like Argentina the Italians like to assert their dominace through the forwards before spreading the ball and the Romanians also have a big pack with one player imparticular standing out,Tonita is a very hard runner of the ball for the Romanians and stopping him if the Romanians use him well will not be an easy task,this will draw the Italians into a forward battle which would mean that points for the Italians could well be at a premiun and not as easy to get as some might think,the Italians have a better backline,but like I said the Italians don't use it untill their forwards create space,Romania know the Italians game plan well and they will spoil their ball,I would'nt at all be surprised if the Romanians actully pulled off a massive upset here and beat Italy today.The pressure on the Italians will be immense here and with that pressure comes mistakes and would'nt the Romanians love that.

Spreadbury is the ref for todays match,he reffed the first up match between the French and Argies and he was dreadful with the onsides and if he refs that way again then Romania will have their chances to keep the game close.

These sides have faced each other 40 times with itakly winning 21 and Romania 16 with 3 draws the most recent encounter was as I have already mentioned with Romania winning.
