As we know in these superspeedway races, the best cars don't always finish on top. So much depends on your positioning during the last few laps, and who your drafting with, if anyone. So, I have had success in the past with the dogs in these matchups. IMO, Jimmy Johnson @ +150 vs Tony Stewart is one helluva value bet. Good luck and good racing.

I like Kenseth +120 over JJ. For the last 2 years (Kenseth and Stewart) the previous Nextel Cup champ has not even finished the Daytona 500. Stewart is a heavy fav to be in contention throughout the race as I see him being -110 to finish in the top 3. He has had alot of success so far this year in non-Nascar events as well as winning 2 of the 3 Nascar events hes been in this year. Its very tough to bet against him.

General, please intrerpret those #'s for me, if you have a chance. Earnhardt, Edwards and Mayfield are the corresponding #'s on one site I have.

Jamie McMurray +125 / David Gilliland McMurray has had some great runs at Daytona while Gilliland is still a little green and won't have many friends come crunch time I think. ![]()
