Boy should have grabbed that money line for huge scalp. Oh well, now down to -2 1/2 some places, 5 pt move our way, thanks Flip. I knew what his intent was before he announced it. That is a bit more Froglike. You could do a lot of things, including shoot a middle. I am just going to let it ride.

Frog, you really like to middle? What about half time situations do you think middling is worth it? How many pts. I never liked middling but if you can change my opinion...

I used to be in a crew of one of the best middler's ever. It was huge, but that was in a different era than today. Now, you just don't get the gaps and the travel or have the reliable books like there used to be. I bought this position strictly on merit of the situation/play. The gap just happened by accident. Had I speculated, and hoped it happened, I would say buy more. But I just think you are better served not middling and just looking for value. Speculating on line movement is risky at best. I could write a short story on the subject, but cliff notes will have to suffice.

How we looking on the TWolves?

Cool Re: Frog's late regular season...

That had potential earn written all over it. Had a middle just fall right in our laps if you went that route, also hedge, scalp, you name it. Nice way to get back on the horse, hopefully someone maxxed out, Travis? Either way, getting out of this ditch, and soon back climbing the mountain.

Trailblazers +14 (2 units)

Sorry about the late release, But still good 15 minutes before tip. Lakers just have not blown anyone out as of late, I am under the impression they can't. They got gift wrap calls vs. Warriors, lost to same at home, lost to crappy Memphis and Charlotte outright, and beat tired Wash by 6. Not good, to say the least. No Roy makes this a smaller play, but they still give that effort every night. Gasol late scratch was what I was waiting for, he made shootaround but they said, sorry. Without him they are a two sided triangle. Keeping this small, going for back to black.

Did you see the ending of that Lakers game. I was due a break. Especially in this thread. The score was Lakeshow by 13, even Gasol played 32 minutes when he was not supposed to go. Tied at the half, slowly in the 4th the Balzers slipped under the number. But as I said, they never quit trying, and the Lakers never blow anyone out as of late. Well Blazers have the ball, went to socre and threw it away, on the court. The lone Laker runs down the court, could have slammed it, instead, runs to the corner and the clock expires. What luck! No play is I know Gasol goes, and it still wins. Next.

Blazers ov 182 (3 units)

Rockets defense going at season's worst now. Blazers beginning to score somewhat better. Both teams play to the final whistle here, and it should be a close contest. Also question Blazers defense after running with Lakeshow last night. Number a tad low here, and a good spot, plus decent probability of a close game foul and score at end. Worth a decent play especially TNT.

I like it more, but would keep the units the same. I am barbacueing, not watching screen, is a scorer out? I would just take the same units better price. Guess I should have waited til last 15 minutes, oh well, got the TWolves early. Let's hoe for the best. Great question though.

Also still dropping, 178 1/2.

Classic clown move there. This number was dropping, and there have not been that many reversals on line movements these days. Instead of waiting for the best number I threw it out there early for the board. Obviously the difference between winning and losing there. If anything we can reenforce two classic gambling rules: Always get the best line. Patience is a virtue. Did neither, got burned. Notice all three last games right near or on the number through a move. This was a middle, and the Twolves was also a middle. Numbers are tight, still. Plenty of games on sked tonight, not hitting the panic button by any means. I'll take the blame for that one. I know better. Next.

Charlotte + 10 1/2 (3 units)

I think Sam Vincent is a mediocre coach at best, but the guys are playing for him. They have been playing very well, on the road. They are on a three game winning streak there, including upsetting the mighty Lakeshow in LA. They are actually playing better on the road than at home, and are close to being good. The Raptors are just slump city. Lose, lose and lose. They just faced the Bobcats, barely squeaked by with 4 point win. But if form holds up for this revenge match Bobcats should actually play better tonight. They seem to press too much for home crowd, and don't on the road. Richardson fills it up every night and Felton is here today, missing tomorrow. Last matchup Raptor attempted amazing 17 more ft's and still barely won by 4. They have not beat anyone by more than 10 for a month except Miami dead Meat, and that is normal.

Sort of depressing when home team is mugging a guy for foul and all three blind mice are staring at the tunnel. But I botched it by getting number at wrong time, so my fault, luck or not, was winnable even with three blind mice.

I blew it yesterday, normally I am pretty good about line movement. In fact, that is one of my specialties. How long have we been on the forums together? I remember you and Jimmy came in about the same time, just can't remember which forum. Yes, knock it down units or pass. I posted this one early anticipating downward travel, 9 is not a disaster by any means.

Cool Re: Frog's late regular season...

... because you're comfortable with the best.

Revenge is sweet, so is a double digit dog winning outright. Had that game read like a book. ft's evened out. Richardson ate them up. They played better on road than at home, and won thier 4th straight on road. No money line but that's cool. A barca is a barca, never in doubt. If I would not have botched yesterday's time of purchase would be on a sweet roll. Either way, back in black. I want momentum going into playoffs, and a plus units winning record in this thread. This was a right side, right result. No mistakes, Next.

Great call frog! You didn't even need the points. What do you think about the late game? I'm thinking about getting on Dallas. I think this game goes down to the wire but Dallas played great last game which has me worried. I'm not sure they can play that good again and i don't know about them on the road.

Dallas was getting thier asses handed to them at home vs. Lakeshow last game between them. They made it a lot closer at the end only. Gasol is back and he makes a huge difference in the triangle offense. I capped that game every which way looking for something, but I just don't see an advantage. In fact, I recapped all of the late games but came up empty. If I was forced to I would go over that game only. But number is about right. Bobcats were my play of the day. Back tomorrow. GLTY.

Well tool, how am I looking now? Maybe you see why I have a fan or two. That Laker game, I said the number was about right, -5, it landed 4, hopefully you hit it, but if you took my over? 207 landed 220, won by double digits again. In fact since I renetered this thread I would be undefeated except my own mistake combined with a touch of three blind mice. So, I think I am heating up, which I do, at this exact time, every single year.
