| Well one more go round, just another post season. Will keep it slow at fist as usual, just a Frog toe in the water at first, no head first dives to crack my head open on shallow rocks. Post first thing tomorrow. Lines are very tight, I like them, they are where they are supposed to be. But even with that I should be able to scrape something together worth betting. Talk to you on Sat morning... Best Wishes...OF ![]() |

| Cleveland ov 187 1/2 (2 units) No big plays at first, as I like to scout some, watch and learn before we go for the heavier weights. Going to run 2-5. Ivan is not around to ask, when are we going to bet more units, and I still would not anyway. This is one of many series where opponents have faced each other many times recently, post season. Big letdown last year for Wash as they came in seriously limping. Down to really one scoring threat. Cavs manhandled them, in a sweep. Not so lucky this year as Wash might be close to healthy, where Cavs could have some injuries. Historically this number has always been around 195, 196. Big drop because? Because Wash scores less? I am not sure of that, or that the Cavs are really that good defensively. Before last year's lopsided series the other games were nailbiters, very close, foul and shoot at end. Feel that will comeback this season as Cavs peaked last year with easy ride and Wash dumped quick with no bullets to fire. My number is 193 so a good 5+ point value, on a could be close game. This is more of a value retro play. As in teams will return to form before last season. Don't go crazy first games, keep the plays low for now. | Let's see, for all my rx buddies, this was not past posted, even with confused time zones. 9 1/2 hours before tip. It was not steam, opened 188, dropped a tick to 187 1/2. Every year I try to post three threads, early regular season, late regular season and post season. This is the post season thread. There is a reason I no longer post at the rx, apparently no quality cappers do anymore. Best Wishes...OF ![]() |

| Phienix Suns +4 1/2 (3 units) Looking grim on the total unless OT. Or some miracle. But either way this was next play. Not very high on Spurs this year, and they just are in the same spot Wash was with Cleveland, revenge for dog. Don't like Ginobili being nicked, no outside shooters and cheap shot Bob looks done. Suns might have what it takes to go far, and probably should have won it all last year. I think this one goes down to wire, and Suns have a shot at upset. Best Wishes...OF ![]() I try to get plays out timely, and I am fucking off with royalfan on front page and getting him out of my hair here. I am done with that nonsense. | No hedge, no press, could have bailed on first game at the half but felt OK, then. 2 points in last 4:39 pretty much evaporated all hope there. This one a lot more promising, Regret not posting it earlier, instead of two minutes before tip. That should be avoided from now on. Also regret no ML, as I thought suns good chance of stealing game #1, as spurs, a team I always have a good read on, just does not have it this year. Will make sure to meet my own goals of having plays posted in a timely manner, take care of business as usual. Next. Best Wishes...OF ![]() |

| Utah +1 (3 units) I would take pk -1.05 before I laid -.15 +1. Get this one up early on hectic day. Just feel the Jazz are the much better, more physical team, and the refs so far have let the physical teams play that way. Cavs game was brutal. Rockets just don't have the muscle or the depth to take on one of the hottest teams down the stretch. I doubt Scola can slow Boozer down, who just ate them up even with Yao in there last season. And how is Motumbo going to be effective guarding Okur? Almost every matchup on the floor favors the Jazz. Depth also does, and now they have Korver and some more bangers coming off the bench. I think Rockets will miss Yao quite a bit, mainly offensively. This will put more of a burden on Tracy, who is just not the player he once was. One hard shot to him, or one fall to the floor might be it for him. His scoring average just drops year after year, along with his health. Although I like coach Rick, Coach Jerry is time tested with playoff style ball. Only league's chosen teams have kept him from getting a ring. But he moved on from Malone and Stock, and now had all new team, ready to rock in playoffs. They are proven, where the Rockets with Adelman are question marks at best. Would be a 4 unit play but I don't like steppin out like that early. I think the Jazz have improved quite a bit, where the Rockets may have regressed, and peaked way too early. | wow Froggy, enjoyed the writeup but really disagree. Utah is not a great team, hardly even a good team, when we are discussing how they play on the road (17-24). i couldnt back that, too strong. i think the better play in this one is the Over but like the rockets to hold serve at home.. but as i said, enjoyed the writeup. |

| Last year they won in close to an impossible game #7 on the road vs. same Rockets, and also ate the Warriors up, on the road. But we can agree to disagree. At least you liked my writeup! Who knows until the game is played. GLTY. Best Wishes...oF ![]() Also a bit concerned on the over as these teams could feasibly grind a game to a complete halt. Both might half court it. |

| hope not, as ive got quite a large wager on it (The Over). Home court holding serve (SU) today, thus far, the Hornets come storming back to win handily against the mavericks. almost game time. |

| 2H Utah +2 (1 unit) Going to press up here as Rockets just don't look like much is working for them, and T Mac is only one able to score. Boards, and FG% going Jazz way, and depth may also come into play. Jazz only attempted 3 ft's, still winning. Take a small press here. Best Wishes...OF ![]() |

| ![]() ... because you're comfortable with the best. Would appear my write up on Jazz was just a bit more than a guess. Seems I may even have had a good read on it. Was in need of a Barca game to make up for ugly start. But distractions cast aside and out of my thread, thanks general, and we moved forward with intense Frog focus. T mac was not up to the task, and they missed Yao on offense badly. Boozer and depth just ate them up. Plus Utah physical style D shut them down. Way under, and side was Barca qualifier 12 ATSMOV. Overall very nice day, I'll take a day like this every day. Especially the aggressive Frog attack 2H. No guts, no glory. Playoff Record 3-1 +3.7 units. Cigar, fine wine, jacuzzi and a massage... | Should be closing Monday but looks like delayed 'til Friday. My buyer asked for a delay up to the 30th at the latest. His appraiser came by today. Anytime a broker gets in the way between a buyer and his lender things slow down... Great Utah plays tonight! ![]() |

| OK, going small here and splitting up 2 units just in case Craptors lay a reptilian egg. A few problems with three point shooting teams, as they live and die by them, and sometimes can't make them But Magic popped thier cherry last year, are no longer happy just making the playoffs. That is the natural progression. They do fly up and down the court, shoot quickly into the shot clock and can put up 105 or more fairly easily on Raptors who really fell off last part of season. They practically had zero quality wins last month of season. Also thier defense really went South. Just don't see either team working the low post or half court game very well. They also cheat a lot and leave a guard way out to cherry pick, fast break and get advantage breaks. Both teams do that. Keep it small. Had to put in new post as time limit for edit expired. Best Wishes...OF ![]() |
