interesting to me how much motivation makes a difference in today's NFL. Truth is I dont think players often care about winning as much as fans or gamblers do. Given a choice, i am sure they all prefer to win, but more important is getting your paycheck and the season can be a long one. Bottom line is the Saints wanted this one more and they caught the Falcons flat. Saints were a home dog on MNF that were much more motivated to get this win and it clearly showed. Although the Falcons did not show it at all tonight, I think their record at the end of the season will prove them to be the better team, but the better team tonight was clearly the Saints.

I did a terrible job capping this game, losing both the over and Atl.

Vick never shows up in prime time but looks fixed to me. Atlanta look beat before the kickoff. With those fans going crazy looks like they were afraid to win. Looked like a WWE match to me. This NFL is a joke. If you want to win find out the better team and load up on the other. Atlanta thinks this was a preseason game. Anyone that thinks playing the best team is certain to lose.

Chicago,Baltimore and Atlanta defenses had held teams to 14 or less for the first two games total. What a joke. If I had any brains I would just bet NCAA sports.

Zero,
I agree! I went with it no+4 and over 44.5, but I think in my subcounscious I knew I was gonna push and I covered my ass on purpose! Knew if no could get to 21 that I was guaranteed a push and I swear I saw something like that blocked punt happening early.
Zero, you're gonna think im nuts after the bobby esposito story and now this, but i swear i saw this one coming, i just couldnt get out of my own fucking way!
Played NINETEEN plays this weekend (nfl & ncaa) and I finished at a grand total of $0 DOLLARS; juice included! Last week was at $0 until i hit that double on jax and the under monday nite. i guess if u can break even at this thing, tough, ure doing ok!
total ytd ncaa & nfl: +11 Units
Let's get 'em hard this week! I'm working on some new info and a couple of systems, zero! Keep in touch with me this week, and we'll see if we can't squeek out some dolla bills!
l8er buddy,
Yung

Would not surprise me. EVERYONE and their brother was on Atlanta. I'm sure much of the $$$ bet on New Orlean's was bet in the New Orleans area. What a way for the NFL to give back to the New Orleans area!!!!

What cracked me up, was just how ignorantly people STILL jumped on Atlanta. Even if would liked Atlanta, it would be a total NO PLAY with that situation. This had "the fix is in" written all over it. It really looked like Atlanta was not even trying. how often do you see a punt block IN THE NFL? No one even blocked the guy who rushed in to block it!!

FREAKING CLASSIC!

When I saw the pregame show I knew Atlanta had no chance. No way after that expensive production the NFL was going to allow Atlanta to come in there kick the crap out of N.O.. Any of you guys that don't think the NFL controlls some of these games you should not be betting them. Atlanta players smiled and took their paychecks. You guys watch Atlanta get ref flags in their favor at the end of the season. That will be the NFL paying them back for being blocking dummies tonight. They will get two NFL wins from the refs in the big fights for taking a dive in this small fight.

Want to make money in the NFL, decide the best team and bet the worst team.

No fix

just the more motivated team won. This was like a Super Bowl for New Orleans, and Atlanta couldnt match the intensity. After Atlanta drove down the field and had a 1st and goal for the 2nd time, have to settle for a FG, and had it blocked, all the intensity left the Falcons at that minute. They conceded the game at that point and played out the minutes only because the league would not allow them to go into the locker room until the time had expired.

The better teams don't always win, if even Atlanta will be proved the better team at the end of the season which I believe they will.

No fix, just a loss.
