Default Fitzgerald, Cards agree on new deal/Arizona Optimistic About Keeping Boldin

Fitzgerald, Cards agree on new deal
Larry Fitzgerald - WR - ARZ - Mar. 11
Larry Fitzgerald and the Cardinals have agreed to a four-year, $40 million contract, with $30 million guaranteed. Fitzgerald's personal website broke the news.
He'll get $33 million over the next three years,$17 million in salary and bonuses this year, and a no-trade clause. The deal gets the Cardinals out of the terrible rookie contract they negotiated with Fitzgerald, and some cap room to re-sign players. Fitzgerald's fantasy stock will remain stead in Arizona, although the team could pass less in Arizona. The deal was signed at the airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Anquan Boldin - WR - Cardinals

Cardinals GM Rod Graves is "optimistic" about being able to keep Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald together.
Graves called them "a dynamic duo" and says he's "looking forward" to talking with Drew Rosenhaus, Boldin's agent. Considering Arizona's cap shape, the club is not in position to give Boldin a raise. ESPN's Matt Mosley reports the Cowboys have discussed Q and could make a play for him. Mar. 18 - 9:40 a.m. ET
