Default cfl week 1

not really any kind of cfl expert here, but do enjoy the league and will try to post picks every week. lines really moving a lot since the opening numbers..i think hamilton and calgary have both moved 4 pts already.

Toronto +2.5
+103

Toronto/Hamilton o 51.5
+103

I think Hamilton will be better this year, but i don't think it will show until later in the year. I see Toronto as a team to watch this year as they do have the talent to be a pretty solid squad. Hopefully they don't burn me opening night and bring the offense they had last year. Counting on around 30 pts from them tonight.

i sagged Mont at +8 just a bit ago, still might go back and tease it with the over.

i liked Tor also and the under, but stayed away.

20-0 Argos after 1 Q.

Hamilton is the worst football team I have ever seen. The defense they play..wow. It reminds me of the Mets defense in baseball.

Stamps have had Montreals number. But -8 seems too much here for me.

40 pts in the first 35 minutes..then 7 pts the last 25 minutes. Tough over play to lose, but the offenses just mailed it in after Toronto took the 20 pt lead. Oh well, still a small profit to start the year.

Might have a 2nd H play in the Montreal game. Lean to the Als, but didn't pull the trigger.

Record YTD: 1-1 +0.03

Should have gone with the Als, easy win last night. East should come down to the Als and Argos this year.

HUGE td drive by the eskies with 20 seconds left to win the 1st half by 7. Ugly first half though..no offensive scoring until that last drive. 9-2 HT score so all 3 first half bets are winners.

Need the Eskies to close them out and win by 9+ for the sweep.

I really like Durant..had a great start last year for the Riders until the injury, and he looks good right now. 8-0 SAS thanks to the single off the kickoff..nice start.

HUGE blocked punt with 2:30 left to set BC up at the SAS 34 down 7..2 & out though and they decide to kick the FG.

2 & out now for SAS and they'll punt to BC up 4 with 1:25 left. Need SAS to keep them out of the endzone.

Great punt right there. Rushed it a bit and BC returner played it horribly and let it bounce over him. They start with it around the 20.

OMG...how did he drop that. BC somehow got behind the SAS defense and had a 55 yard TD if he catches that..holy shit.

And that's the game. SAS defense was dominant all game, but had a few plays where they collapsed late to give BC a chance..they couldn't take advantage though.

28-24 SAS final.

Week 1: 5-2 +3.01 units
