Stayin' Alive

The remaining HouseGuests go outside to find eight disco balls attached to hanging chains. Julie explains they must choose a disco ball, stand on the gold disc above the ball and hold on tight to the chain. As they get hoisted into the air, Julie explains they must remain standing upright, since no crouching is allowed. Otherwise the rules are simple: the last remaining HouseGuest holding onto the chain will be the new Head of Household.

James tells Julie it feels great to be around all the people who voted him out. Julie tells James that since she always reveals the vote total, the vote to keep him was 5-3. Julie then asks "What would disco night be without something special?" Natalie wonders if they are getting champagne. Turns out she is right, since frothy champagne is shot at the HouseGuests, covering them in a bubbly mess.

dirty, it's official. i freaking hate you. i started watching this freaking show, gotta say, it's good but this after dark show is real good. my wife watches the show also, she walked down the steps last night at 2:00 am and said "you have to be kidding me, can't you just dvr the show and watch it tomorrow?" natalie has a great rack (racktacular), chelsia had a great bod, glad to see matt go (the blow job thing was hysterical). my only complaint is that the people who don't watch the after hours show don't really see the "real people". example, natalie reading the bible during the show but swearing like a sailor at night, the blow job thing between her and matt was a dynamic none of the regular viewers could understand and adam constantly picking his nose. funny stuff, great show, thx for turning me on to it.

You are right.. It is addicting and if the Viewers don't watch the After Dark show they truly don't understand everything that is going on. I watch it every other night or so as I can't justify watching it every night....I always watch it after a CBS airing to see who is pissed at who... The BJ thing was hilarious.....Chelsia went apeshit and deserved to get kicked off even tho I liked her....I will watch some tonight to see what is going on

James Lobbies to Keep Himself Safe
Natalie Considers an Unexpected Deal

Chelsia's angry eviction from the house makes for some very strong reactions from the remaining HouseGuests. Natalie has some news for Chelsia, who told her to get an education as she left the house. "Chelsia, guess what? I went to college for three years," she says as she revels in her eviction. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."

Sheila is puzzled and annoyed by Chelsia's goodbye comment to her that she was "rode hard." Sheila thinks that was a "classless thing to say" and that the phrase is something you might hear in a bar somewhere. Sheila decides Chelsia is "extremely immature." Adam is glad she's gone, and notes Chelsia's comments were like a "cap gun going off."

Joshuah knows that Chelsia's departure makes for a big change in his game. Now his alliance is just three people: himself, Sharon and James, which puts them in the minority against the foursome of Sheila, Natalie, Adam and Ryan. The HoH competition is therefore "crucial," he says.

Natalie winning HoH is Joshuah's nightmare come true, but to make things even worse, Joshuah is peeved to find out from the competition that America thinks Natalie would give a more inspirational speech than he would. Joshuah thinks he would give a better speech, since he can use words with more than five letters, and his speech won't be written in "crayon or nail polish."

James admits he "wasn't too stoked" with Natalie's win, either, and that he will have to "definitely retool" his game play.

In a post HoH competition celebration, Natalie, Ryan, Adam and Sheila toast their side of the house's good luck. Joshuah, who is appalled he was beaten in a mental competition by Natalie, tells James "One of those idiots is gonna win a half million dollars." Ryan jokes that their side of the house is "Team Christ," which pleases Natalie. Adam notes "whatever works, works. You can't knock the Lord, he put me on this earth, you know."

Time for a Retool

James admits that unless he comes up with some plan, he is on his way out the door for sure. Natalie is packing up her things to move into the HoH Suite when James comes knocking. Before she can even savor her victory, James asks her "Are you going to put me up?" Natalie tells him she needs to think about things first.

Natalie's Letter

When Natalie gets to see her HoH Suite, one of her favorite pictures is a shot of her dog, Sampson. Sheila and most of the other HouseGuests think the pictures are sweet, but Joshuah is not impressed. Natalie's pictures are "typical Natalie," he says. "A bikini picture of Natalie-wow, what a surprise! A picture of Natalie hugging a tree-wow what a surprise."

Natalie's letter from home contains all the standard "we love you" and "stay strong" words of support, but Natalie's father reveals that her participation in the show has brought her family together. "My dad hasn't talked to my mom in years," Natalie reveals.

He's Coming Out!

In a Sauna Room conversation, Sheila asks Joshuah if she can bring up something that may be touchy: how did he come out to his parents? Joshuah explains it happened when he was in college, and his mother wanted him to come home early from his Winter break, but he wanted to stay for a Christmas party with his gay friends. When his mother pressed him on why the party was so important, Joshuah came out to her. He recalls his mother told him a plane ticket home would be waiting for him at the airport the next day. He notes at first they didn't talk about it much but now things are fine between them. "I think I love your parents now," Sheila tells him.

An Unholy Alliance?

James makes his way up to the HoH Suite to lobby Natalie. James asks to talk to her frankly, and Natalie admits she wants to do what's best for her. Natalie tells him that Ryan and Adam both want him out, and James tells her they are afraid of him since he is strong and they smoke and are out of shape. Natalie admits she can trust James more than Joshuah. James said he wants to work with her, but Natalie says she is scared of him because he took her Matty out of the game. James counters with the fact that Natalie took Chelsia out. James then admits he was physically intimidated by Matt, and that's why he broke his word to her and sent him packing. Natalie asks if James will back her up and he says "110 percent." "If I keep you, we work together," Natalie asks back, and James tells her they can, and that she can put up Sharon and Joshuah as a "couple thing." He tells her they can call the final two for themselves right now, but Natalie is not sure what to do. After James leaves, Natalie walks around the HoH Suite muttering, "What is best for me, Big Brother? What do I do?"

To Slop or Not to Slop

Natalie announces to the HouseGuests it is time for the food competition. Adam notes that he doesn't want to go anywhere near slop. The HouseGuests go to different rooms and wait by themselves for a chance to play. Sharon is out first, and finds the backyard transformed into a barnyard, complete with plastic animals and hay bales. Sharon remarks that it is just like Kansas. She reads the instructions, which explains that at least three of the HouseGuests (minus HoH Natalie) will be on slop this week. Sharon has to decide whether to put her "slop" or "food" token into her watermelon. The object of the competition is to figure out how greedy the house is. If three or more HouseGuests choose their slop cards, then those people are on slop. But if three or more choose the food card, then those people will be on food. The goal is to be in the minority. After thinking it over, Sharon decides it's hard to predict what people will do, and goes with her slop token. During his turn James chooses his slop token. Adam is up next. He opts for the food token. Sheila is indecisive during her turn, but goes with the slop token. Joshuah, who wouldn't mind a slop diet to help him slim down, decides to go with his slop token as well. Ryan thinks it will go 3-3, and also goes with his slop token.

The HouseGuests then assemble outside, where Natalie instructs them to smash open their individual watermelons with big mallets. She reminds them if they are split down he middle, they will all get what they individually selected. In quick succession the HouseGuests smash open their watermelons, revealing that only Adam picked the food token. Therefore, Adam has food privileges for the week along with Natalie, while the rest of the house goes on slop!

Sharon does have an out with a slop pass she won in a previous competition, but she opts not to use it, noting "I'm not going to win this game if I pull all my stops out early."

Natalie's Thousand Words

Natalie just can't get over Matt, and spends an evening "having a moment" staring at his picture on the Memory Wall, mumbling to herself. Joshuah notes that he wouldn't be surprised to wake up one morning to find her "lipstick all over his picture."

Back Dooring James

In a HoH Suite strategy session, Ryan tells Natalie they might want to back door James so he doesn't have the chance to take himself off the block with the Power of Veto. Since he has won Power of Veto twice, James should be treated carefully. Ryan also notes it will annoy James since he will hate being back doored. Ryan says by putting Joshuah and Sharon up they will take one another off if they win the POV, while Natalie will use it if she wins it. Natalie thinks this is interesting, but doesn't commit to anything. Ryan tells her it is "just an option" as the new HoH decides what she should do.

Time for Nominations

Natalie calls the HouseGuests into the dining room for the nomination ceremony. She tells them it is "really difficult for me because we are down to so few people to choose from." Adam is the first safe HouseGuest, followed by Sheila. Ryan's key is pulled next, with Sharon the last HouseGuest to be named safe. Natalie notes Joshuah was more than overdue to be nominated since he's never been up on the block. Natalie says James is up because he and Joshuah are clearly working together. James knows he was nominated because he is a "big threat," but warns he will come back at Natalie next week. Joshuah says he is "no longer a block virgin" and for the first time feels threatened.

Sharon says she knows her former partner, Joshuah, is the one going home today. "It's going to be very hard," she admits, since the two of them have bonded emotionally. However, Joshuah thinks he has done enough behind-the-scenes work to secure James' and Ryan's votes, which would make for a 2-2 vote, with Natalie breaking the tie in his favor. "I'm feeling pretty good, not gonna lie," Joshuah says. For her part, Natalie is hoping Joshuah gets three people to vote to keep him, since she doesn't want to be "somebody's executioner."

Natalie informs Joshuah that she won't be very happy if she has to break a tie. This stresses out Joshuah, who wonders if Natalie will keep her word or break it and send him out of the house. But this information inspires Joshuah to be more proactive when it comes to scaring up a third vote.

And the Award for Outstanding Actor in a Reality Series Goes to...

"I'm going to try and win safety this week," Joshuah explains, noting his first target is Adam. Joshuah sits down at the kitchen counter with a piece of pizza in front of him. Everyone knows he is on slop, and Joshuah is hoping he can use the food as a prop. "I better be convincing," Joshuah says to himself before turning on the waterworks. Adam comes in and falls for the ruse hook, line and sinker. Joshuah tells him he's going to break his slop fast since he's going home anyway. "I'm here by myself," Joshuah sobs as he lays it on really thick. Adam hugs Joshuah and tells him it's going to be okay. "Cry it out if you need to," Adam says. Joshuah thinks this shows he would be a great soap opera actor. "I don't like to break down in front of people," Joshuah says, as Adam reveals he might cry!

Joshuah shows his manipulation skills are in fine form when the tearful conversation turns to votes. Adam says he can make what he thinks is a 2-2 vote. Joshuah is ecstatic, since Adam would actually give him a majority vote to stay, so that he wouldn't even need Natalie to save him.

Later, Natalie asks James why she should trust him to not put her up if she keeps Joshuah in the house. James says he will talk to her about it when the time comes. Natalie thinks it is "kind of hard" to trust Joshuah and James since she knows they are working together.

Girl Power!

Natalie decides she needs to have a conversation with Sharon. Up in the HoH Suite, Natalie breaks the news that Joshuah is throwing her under the bus. Natalie then tells Sharon she wants to keep her and boot Joshuah. Sharon promises that if she gets HoH or is in a position of power next week, she will lobby to keep Natalie in. Sharon then calls in Sheila to tell her what Joshuah has been up to. Natalie realizes it's time for the three of them to start playing as a trio.

"No matter what, bottom line, we have to work together," Natalie says. Sheila says Joshuah "is sneaky. I can't believe he would do this." Sharon decides that at this point in the game she doesn't feel that bad about Joshuah going home. Natalie then says if she has to break a tie, she is sending Joshuah to the Jury. "I need to go work Adam and Ryan and make sure they vote out Joshuah," she says.

Sharon and Natalie Get to Work

Sharon talks to Ryan about staying in the house, and promises she has never gunned for him and that Joshuah and James have. Ryan realizes that Sharon may be a good ally going forward in the house. Natalie also talks to Ryan about what a threat Joshuah and James are in the house. She tells Adam that if those two stay in the house, "We are all screwed." Natalie gets the boys to agree, and notes that she will keep this a secret and boot Joshuah out if there is a tie. Meanwhile Joshuah and James talk outside. They think they have the votes in the bag. James is sure that Sharon is going to be blindsided. Talk about a showdown!

A Chat with the HouseGuests

Host Julie Chen asks Joshuah what kind of struggles he's been through since being on the chopping block up against his close friend in the house, Sharon. Joshuah says he thinks Sharon is a great person. "Other people in the house, I don't worry about taking them down," he answers, but unfortunately he's on the block with Sharon. Julie asks the same question of Sharon, who says she's loved Joshuah from the first day in the house and that she knows they will be friends beyond the game.

Mama's Boy

This week's out-of-house package focuses on Joshuah. His mother, Darlene, says that Joshuah has always been "the life of the party," but she did not expect to see her son's vituperative outbursts. "It's a little nerve-wracking," she says. "I don't know what's going to happen next." And in terms of his sometimes dirty mouth, Darlene notes, "I've never heard Joshuah use language like that. I just want to wring his neck." Joshuah's verbal attacks have shocked Darlene as much as they have shocked the other HouseGuests. "When I see this monster on TV, I say where is that coming from?" his mother says. "I keep telling myself that's strategy."

A Chat with Natalie

Up in the HoH Suite, Julie asks Natalie what she is thinking when she stares at Matt's picture. Natalie says she thinks about the good times they had. Julie wonders how Natalie feels about Matt and Chelsia being alone in the Jury House. Natalie says Matt is a "free man" but that Chelsia will "probably try to do something to spite me. That's the kind of girl she is." Natalie also notes that Ryan is her closest ally in the house.

Natalie scurries back to the living room as Julie announces it is time for the nominees to make their last pitches to stay. Sharon gives a basic speech saying she would like to stay but is fine with going. Joshuah tells the HouseGuests they are "the most dysfunctional family on TV." He then says he feels like they are all on a roller coaster ride in an amusement park, complete with the requisite ups and downs. "One more ride" is all Joshuah is asking for.

So Who Gets Evicted?

It's time to vote. Sheila is up first and chooses to evict Joshuah. Ryan, Joshuah's secret ally, also votes to evict him. Adam makes it three votes for Joshuah, ensuring him an eviction. James, who votes last, is the only HouseGuest choosing to evict Sharon.

Julie breaks the bad news to Joshuah. Before he leaves, Joshuah tells them to all be true to themselves and stand up for what they believe in. He skips hugs with everyone except Sharon, who cries. Once Joshuah leaves, Sharon falls to the floor as James comforts her. She then gets up and thanks everyone for keeping her, but she cries buckets in the process.

Outside, Julie says Joshuah campaigned hard this week, so was he surprised he got evicted? "I knew they were going to kick out the toughest person," Joshuah says, adding that the HouseGuests "needed to kick me out." In their farewell messages, James tells Joshuah he really did have Joshuah's back in this game. Sharon tells him she will have vengeance on the HouseGuests for booting her closest ally out of the house.

More or Less?

Julie gets the HouseGuests together for the HoH competition. For this challenge, the HouseGuests will be asked a series of questions based on the quantity of things in the house. They must answer "more" or "less." For every correct answer, they will each receive a point. The person with the most points after seven questions wins. Julie asks if there are more or less than 25 table lamps in the house. The correct answer is less, 19. Everyone but Sheila gets a point. Julie then asks if there are more or less than 30 tree trunks in the Diary Room. The correct answer is less, 23. Sharon and James get points. The third question asks if there are more or less than 75 pillows in the house. The correct answer is more, 87. Sharon, Sheila and Adam all get a point. The fourth question asks if there are more or less than 37 total picture frames throughout the entire house. The correct answer is more, 40 frames. Everyone is wrong. Everyone then gets the next question correct. Everyone but Sharon gets the following question right. Julie announces there is a three-way tie between Sharon, James and Adam. For the last question, Julie asks if there are more or less than 115 pullout drawers in BB House. The correct answer is more. Adam is correct, which makes him the new Head of Household!
