A HouseGuest Wins Her First HoH Competition!

As the HouseGuests continue to struggle through the Head of Household competition, Adam tells Ryan to put his back into the corner of the Plexi-glass box to get into a better position. Sheila and Natalie both look very comfortable hanging mid-air, while Sharon is the first HouseGuest to show signs of strain. Ryan says he feels pretty safe this week, with his only worry being Natalie, since she can be very sneaky. Sharon knows that as the last person in her alliance, it is a "very big deal" for her to win the HoH competition. Like Ryan, Sheila doesn't trust Natalie. Sheila also thinks that after ten weeks in the house, it's time for her to finally win something.

"I've never been in a glass box before," Natalie says. "I feel 100 percent guaranteed I'm gonna win." Natalie is on the high of watching James get evicted from the house. Sheila still feels bad about James getting the heave-ho, since he reminds her of her son. Ryan is fine with it, since he feels "Pinky" had to go. Still obsessing over numbers, Natalie says James went home on the ninth, on day 63 (6 + 3 = 9) and was always compared to a cat with nine lives. "Matty is going to be so happy," she says.

The First One Bites the Dust

The HouseGuests now have to deal with smoke, which drifts up into the boxes. Sharon struggles even more than before. "I'm about to lose it," she says. "I hurt my back last night." At eight minutes in, Sharon drops! As Adam carries her off, Sharon says, "I'll just win PoV."

Natalie thinks this is great for her alliance, Team Christ, which is made up of her, Sheila, Adam and Ryan. As she hangs in her box, Sheila tells Ryan that he is good with her since he used the Power of Veto last week when she was nominated for eviction. Ryan appreciates the sentiment, but notes that at this point in the game, they are all in it for themselves.

Down on the ground, Sharon tells Adam that Sheila might win this, and that if Natalie wins, it may screw them all. Sheila almost slips, but saves herself from falling. Just after two hours, Adam and Sharon go inside. As soon as the sliding door closes, Natalie suggests the three of them make a deal to put up Sharon and Adam. Sheila says if she wins, Ryan is not going up. With just a little prodding, Sheila says she will put Adam up as well.

Sheila admits that she is really in an alliance with Adam, but knows he can pull himself down if he needs to. Ryan only agrees to the plan because it guarantees Sheila the HoH win.

Another One is Out

Ryan drops after two hours and 47 minutes of hanging. "Who would have known?" Natalie says. "It's me and She-bot." Sheila keeps talking about a letter from home as Sharon encourages Natalie to give the game to Sheila. "Should I make her hang up there and suffer?" Natalie asks. "Jesus suffered for us. What would Jesus do?" Sharon can't believe Natalie would even ask that question. "That girl talks about the Bible," Sharon fumes. "She doesn't know what virtue is." Sheila keeps working Natalie. "You're good," Sheila says to Natalie. "I'm telling you."

Natalie's Decision

Sheila tells Natalie she can stay up for at least another hour. Natalie says the nice person in her wants to give it to her, but the fighter doesn't want to drop. Adam thinks Natalie's conversation with herself is annoying everybody and "doing nothing more than making herself a bigger target."

Natalie finally makes a decision. "I'm a giver, so I want to show I can give, so goodbye," she says as she lets go. Sheila wins her first HoH of the game! "I know this deal is not going to bite me in the butt," Natalie says.

In a storage room conversation, Sheila confirms that Natalie is safe. But what Natalie does not know is that Sheila promised not to put her up on the block initially, but said nothing about back-dooring. Natalie is being set up!

A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words

Sheila is confident that getting her own HoH suite is "going to give me a second wind," since a letter from home plus pictures of her family will remind her why she "came into this house in the first place." All of the HouseGuests are excited for Sheila as they enter the HoH Suite and see pictures of her son, brother and sister. Included among her pictures is a headshot from her modeling and centerfold days. Natalie and Ryan both think she looks like a movie star. Adam thinks a shot of Sheila when she was 25 looks "dynamite." He also wishes "that chick was in the house now instead of this thing."

Ryan reads a letter from Sheila's son as everyone listens. Sheila reads the HouseGuests the message from her sister, who tells her she has maintained her integrity in the game. Everyone is riding on a wave of good will, including Adam, who tears up a little. Sheila notes she needed this "more than I needed to breathe."

Who's the Target?

Later up in the HoH Suite, Sheila, Adam and Sharon go over the next big move in the game. Sharon says Natalie has to go. Sheila agrees, since she thinks Natalie will continue to be a formidable competitor in competitions, especially endurance competitions. Sheila and Sharon tell Adam that he should go up on the block, and then get taken down by the Power of Veto so that Sheila can put up Natalie in a back door move. Adam is not happy about the prospect of being nominated for eviction, but sees Sheila's wisdom in back dooring Natalie, since keeping Natalie in the dark means she won't compete hard for the PoV. Adam is impressed with Sheila's newfound gameplay!

Sheila the Wheeler-Dealer

Sheila asks Ryan for a favor: if he wins the PoV competition, take Adam off the block. Ryan agrees to the request, since he sees Natalie as a big threat going forward in the game. Ryan is totally on board the plan to back door Natalie. Sheila then has a conversation with Adam to assure him he's safe this week. But at the same time, Natalie and Ryan are downstairs. Natalie can see that Sheila and Adam are a tight pair. Natalie thinks she and Ryan are working together, but Ryan knows at this point they are all turning on one another. Later, Natalie works her way up to the HoH Suite. Sheila tells Natalie she's safe for the week, and Natalie assure Sheila she'll be safe next week. "I kinda know when somebody's lying to me," Sheila says. "No, next week you don't have me. Next week you'll be gunning for me."

Time for Nominations

Natalie has "no concerns" about being nominated, since she believes Sheila will live up to her word to not put Natalie up on the block because she gave Sheila the HoH competition. As the last surviving "evildoer," as her alliance was called by Natalie, Sharon is nervous that her status as perennial pawn may come to an end. She knows she is a definite target. Sheila is dreading the eviction nominations, since she has so few choices left in whom to put up on the block. But Sheila also feels like she is finally playing the game. "It's real," she says.

Sheila pulls Natalie's key first. Natalie removes the second and last key. It is Ryan's, which means Adam and Sharon are on the block. Sheila says she is not mad at Adam, but since he put her up on the block last week, it made sense to put him up this week. She says it is just the game, and Adam says he agrees. Sheila tells Sharon she loves her and good luck in the upcoming PoV competition.

Adam understands Natalie is Sheila's target this week, but he hopes this plan unfolds the way it is supposed to. Sheila notes that the "old Sheila" would take knocks in the game on the chin, but the "new Sheila" is not going to take it any more. She hopes this shows everyone what she is capable of doing in the game. Who will win the PoV? And will Sheila's plan to get Natalie nominated work? if cbs was smart they would be doing a "second simoultaneous" show in the sequestered house, would be super entertaining, mess with the kicked off house guests...i think you are right, ryan could win but being hoh now doesn't guarantee anything. withoot nats tatas the show will be less enjoyable but no more team christ makes up for the loss.

I think this week it's time for Sheila to take a hike. With Ryan winning HOH, he won't put Adam up so that leaves the 2 girls. If neither girls win the POV I'm hoping they will send Sheila out. But knowing Adam's heart he will try to keep his partner in the game.

From Day 1 Ryan was my favorite to win. I hope he can complete the mission.

and yes ryan can play for HOH next week. it will be a 3 part competition with endurance being the first part.

The Eviction Vote Comes With Consequences for One HouseGuest
The House Competes for a Star-Studded Luxury Prize

The fallout from Natalie's eviction is swift. Ryan explains that Adam and he realized Natalie "needed to go," and the idea of a split vote was to force current HoH Sheila to make the ultimate decision to send Natalie home over fellow eviction nominee Sharon. "This was to put blood on Sheila's hands," Ryan says.

But things don't work out the way Ryan plans. While the HouseGuests sit on the couch during the live show, Adam turns to Natalie and mouths the words "I voted for you." Ryan sees this and is immediately unhappy, since the plan was to send Natalie out of the house not knowing who among her "Team Christ" alliance betrayed her.

After Natalie leaves, Sheila notes she didn't want to make that decision to evict, but it worked okay, since Natalie admitted she was gunning for the 46-year-old single mom. Ryan quickly makes known his irritation with Adam. "You sat there and told her, dude," Ryan says to Adam in the kitchen moments after the eviction. "I read your lips." Adam tries to stammer his way through an explanation, but Ryan is not buying it. "I didn't mean to," Adam says.

Later in a diary room session, Adam cops to the move, which he made to protect himself in the game. He notes he will have to "lie and deceive" his way out of this one. But for Ryan, the damage has been done since Adam was "essentially throwing me under the bus." Ryan notes if Adam did reach out to Natalie, it means he will lose all trust in Baller, and there could be repercussions.

Secret Sisters!

There is also fallout from the Head of Household competition thanks to a question that reveals there is another preexisting relationship in the BIG BROTHER house. After Ryan wins HoH and everyone gathers for the usual post-competition recap, Adam asks what the remaining relationship is. Ryan wonders if it is Adam and Sheila, but Sheila says that is not true. Ryan then suggests Sharon and Sheila may be a mother/daughter pair! Everyone denies a preexisting relationship with each other, which leaves just one unlikely pair everyone has so far overlooked-the guinea pigs! The little critters are actually sisters!

Ryan then wonders if there is a relationship between them they don't know about. Could he and Sheila be long-lost relatives? "I keep telling you, you look like my cousin," Sheila says to Ryan. "I do kinda look like your sister and mom."

That night, Ryan jokingly calls Sheila "auntie." Ryan and Adam tease Sheila. With a smile on his face, Adam says "there is something fishy." Sheila is annoyed. "So now you guys are going to come after me?" she asks.

Later while playing pool, the boys go over more possibilities. Adam notes Sheila and Sharon have the same eye color! Inside Sharon and Sheila have a conversation about the eviction vote. As Adam walks through the kitchen from outside, Sharon indicates he was the vote to keep Natalie and Ryan was the vote to boot her. "Unbelievable," Sheila says. Sharon notes that was a risky strategy for them, and wonders if Ryan still trusts Adam.

The boys keep up their genial ways outside as they play pool and then golf, but Ryan has his eye on Baller. "I don't have to please anyone," Ryan says. "I'm in the driver's seat; I can do whatever I want."

Ryan's Romantic Lifeline

As part of his HoH Suite reveal, Ryan gets a letter from his girlfriend and former HouseGuest, Jen. As the rest of the HouseGuests listen, Ryan reads out loud that Jen misses him terribly and has become addicted to the live Internet feed. She calls herself Ryan's "biggest fan" and says she is not complete without him. Everyone is moved, even Adam, who wipes away tears.


Despite Adam's needling, Sheila wants to make sure she has an ally in Adam. In a Pink Room conversation, Sheila corners Adam to find out if he has her back. Adam reminds her they were initially partnered together. "Until the end," he says. Sheila says she needs to know if he is going to save her, while Adam shoots back he wants to know if she will be there for him. Sheila says she has apologized to him for being mean and that she cares about him, and would go so far as to end her own game if it came down to it. Adam admits later that he doesn't know who to trust, "but my heart got me this far in the game."


What Happens in Vegas...

Ryan comes out of the Diary Room to announce there is a Luxury Competition! After the HouseGuests assemble, Ryan reveals they are competing for the chance at an in-house screening of the new feature film, What Happens in Vegas starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz, and also for a VIP experience that includes a shopping spree and tickets to the May 1 premiere of the film in Hollywood, plus a chance to meet the cast at an after party. Movie-lovers Sheila and Sharon go nuts at the prospect of the prize. When Ryan announces they must pair up male-female, Sharon grabs Ryan. Sheila and Adam can't believe they are stuck together.

After watching the trailer for the movie in the living room, the HouseGuests go outside to find one side of the yard has been decorated to resemble New York, while the other side represents Las Vegas, the two major settings for the film. Ryan explains the teams have to break the prop bottles over each other's heads. Inside each bottle is a ring, but only seven bottles have special dice rings. When a team finds a dice ring, they put it on one of the nine squares on the playing board. Once all nine squares are filled, Ryan will spin a wheel with nine corresponding boxes. If the box on the wheel matches one of the boxes chosen by one of the teams, that team wins the prize. But there is a catch-the losing team pays a consequence. They will be physically connected for twenty-four hours! This drives Sheila crazy, since she does not want to be linked to Adam for a full day.

To protect themselves, the HouseGuests wear goggles and helmets. The women's helmets feature blonde wigs while the guys have brunette dos. After getting one freebie ring on the board, the HouseGuests get to work breaking bottles over each other's heads. Sheila is enjoying this part of the competition as she cracks the prop bottles over Adam's noggin. But when they switch places, Adam is clearly having as much fun as Sheila did. Once all the fake glass is broken, Ryan and Sharon score six dice rings to Adam and Sheila's three. Ryan spins the wheel, and the law of averages works in his and Sharon's favor-they win the screening and VIP package!

A Night with Ashton and Cameron

That evening the backyard is transformed into a drive-in theatre, complete with classic cars, a decked out concession stand and posters from What Happens in Vegas. Sheila and Adam get just a taste of what they are missing before they are locked inside. Ryan and Sharon sit down for the film, which they both enjoy.

But soon after the film is over, Ryan and Sharon are back in the game. Up in the HoH Suite, Ryan tells Sheila she is going on the block. Sheila isn't surprised, but goes for broke and asks about Adam. She and Ryan commiserate about Adam's decision to tell Natalie he voted to keep her, since it made both of them look bad. Ryan tells Sheila not to worry since he thinks Adam and Sharon will be going after one another.

Sharon also makes a point of talking to Ryan in the hopes of keeping herself off the block. She tells Ryan she doesn't trust Adam. Ryan agrees. The pair has a secret alliance, and Sharon notes that as long as they stick together they can make it to the final two.

Time for Nominations!

Ryan calls everyone in for the Nomination Ceremony. Adam worries his Natalie move could bite him. Sharon trusts Ryan, but doesn't know what will happen. Sheila saved Ryan from the block previously, but feels like she's outside looking in. Ryan notes there are only three people left to nominated, which means he is pulling only one key out of the nomination box. Ryan pulls the single key, and reveals Adam is safe. "I don't think I need to stress the importance of PoV," Ryan says.

There were two parts to HOH. The boogie boards in the water were yesterday and there was some sort of puzzle today for the 2nd part. Part 3 is tomorrow night live.
