BetUS should be avoided like a plague. Period.

I'm glad MFG finally got his money, but he was once again forced into a "deal" under extreme duress, only because Joey "weasel" Rizzo didn't want to admit he tried to scam him by continuing to increase his rollover requirements three years ago.

Mike Foreman is certainly doing his best, but Rizzo still holds the stick. he screwed players once, he certainly would do it again should the occasion present itself.

Good post. I did mention they will never be safe as long as Tej owns them.

Its a dam shame that these serial scammers find places and sites willing to let them lure in new victims. They should be isolated and new players constantly warned.

I'd trust Tej way ahead of the crooks at BetUS who by all accounts are in the middle of taking a standing 8 count. And even one poster in this thread called Jay Cohen the boy who cried wolf! Progress in this industry seems like its 2 steps forward and a step and a half back.

We're not arguing semantics; you made the accusation that BetUs was stealing; I simply corrected you; no semantic argument involved, by definition, it is not stealing. A little boy repeatedly crying wolf does not make a wolf appear!
And your analogy is incorrect; BetUs didn't steal Mr. Smith's wallet; Mr. Smith voluntarily sent his money to BetUs; BetUs informed Mr. Smith that he would not be able to make withdrawls of his money for the period between the holidays but that it would be safe until he could withdraw it on Jan. 3rd. BetUs sent Mr. Smith his money just like they promised. I can not only defend BetUs, but I can commend them on doing exactly what they promised to do.

i called betus during the holidays like on the 27th and said i was interested in betting some bowl games maybe sending a deposit i asked if i got lucky and won today could i withdraw my winnings the next day the customer service rep said sure as long as you dont accept any bonuses on your deposit i said thanks i will think about it

so they didint seem to mention i would have to wait a week to get paid? do you consider that false information to a customer

At the time I made that post I had just missed closure on the MFG deal. After that post Mike got slightly upset but still went thru and fixed the wrong to MFG's consent and satisfaction.

Think about it Jay....you guys barked for three years at the moon and in less than a month the "cancer of the industry" contributed to get it resolved.

sometime went by and we then met in cr.... I was there, Ken was there, the dude from sbr was there.

we jointly visited the place, saw that things were changing and all came to our own conclusions.

Two months after that meeting I took them onboard as sponsors. With the exception of a couple of very old cases who found closure this year the only one chopping their balls has been..... JC


Now Royal. Lots of people talk about Royal and its current ownership but hardly anyone knows them better than I do.

They have done their good deed of mistakes and have been exposed because of them.

In April they agreed to work within industry standards and have been doing so since. I took some ad deal from them in September, few months after their initial committment and after having verified they were abiding to it.

Meanwhile the only one constantly chopping their nuts has been .... JC

Now back to us. Even the dude from sbr agrees to the fact that only idiots never change their opinion, blinded by their own agendas and unable to appreciate changes...

To be honest Jay, I don't pretend to be a Saint nor ever claimed to be one.

But protecting Antigua and omitting their misdoings like you do makes you no better than anyone in the biz, certainly not the White Knight you used to be.

Assuming Royal does everything right now, which I don't believe, but assuming they do. How do you justify supporting a place that was finaced with stolen money from prior operations and all of the money is still controlled by the same said thief, Tej Kohli?

Second, do you find BetUS's latest shenanigan of closing the withdrawal window but not the deposit window for two weeks acceptable behavior? (And not pblicly notifying anyone until they requested a withdrawal.)

Makes a worse? We were offering to pay up $10,000 to pay the legal fees of the victims that BOS was stealing from before they went belly-up. We rated them at a D- and thats what you call "ad money"? I have a letter from Clive Archer threating to sue us which we responded to bring it on. Is that what you call promoting them? LOL. We get paid when anyone uses our site to join a book but we call them like we see them and we called BOS crooks and rated them a nice D-.

Good question Jay.

Lets start with Royal.

As you may be aware, or maybe you are not, the biggest cash cow of the Royal group is their casinos.

As far as the past goes, the pioneer days of Tej in the industry, yes he has made some serious mistakes but he also got wronged by others. Not that doing wrong and being wronged offset each other, but its always good to remain objective.

I've known the man since mid 2003. He has had more than one opprtunity of running away with the purse. He hasn't. Is that a sign of redemption? Maybe.

After all everyone has made mistakes in his or her life. Some have made them bigger, some smaller. Normally speaking an individual should be evaluated on his mistakes AND his following actions.

I believe everyone here, especially the long time posters, concurs that despite being trashed (and most of the times rightly so) Royal has been paying out (sometime slow paying) for the past three years.

Does that make them the ideal out for a gambler? probably not, but we've seen worse, while Tej kept paying....

BetUS - some books used to stop processing over the All Stars Break, others slowed down for a few days. As long as customers are kept informed and are aware of the suspension its fine. If not its certainly not correct.
