The crooks at BetUS can't help but steal every chance they get. They have not processed customer withdrawals since December 22nd and claim they will not resume until January 3rd. They blame this theft of player funds on the holidays. This is just a bush league move in hopes that people will put their money in play during the bowl season as long as it is being held hostage. What is EOG's position on this matter? Shrink, General, Dirty, anything to say about this? Does anyone find this acceptable behavior? |

Considering many major businesses are closed the 23rd -> 26th and again the 30th -> 1st, you are complaining about 3 business days -- hardly something to claim they are in anyway stealing anyone's money. If they let the players know beforehand that there would be no withdrawals processed during this time period, then it isn't an issue at all. Hell, Neteller keeps funds in limbo a full 4-5 business days AFTER they have withdrawn them from your bank... I'd call them crooks about that before I would BetUS over a short withdrawal suspension during the holidays. |

It is an issue if it's a systematic attempt to hold people's money in hopes of them losing it. Neteller is still open, Western Union is open. I would believe that their banking is closed but something tells me they are still open for deposits. And I don't think they told anyone until they requested their money. More monkey business from the crooks. And yes, it is stealing. If you run a business and advertise that you will have regular access to your money and then you refuse to process withdrawals for 10 days for no legitimate reason, that's stealing. They're a platinum advertiser here. Let's see them come in here and defend it. |

But don't insult everyone's intelligence and pretend a two week delay in any payoff is justified. We aren't stupid; we know what the point of the delay is.

"And yes, it is stealing. If you run a business and advertise that you will have regular access to your money and then you refuse to process withdrawals for 10 days for no legitimate reason, that's stealing." ...No, it is not stealing. At worst it is an inconvenience, a delay in getting your money, but it is definitely NOT stealing. You lose all credibility, JC, when you come in here and start threads like this where you change the meaning of words and threads like the BetRoyal one which you start over and over again periodically. You're like the little boy who cried "WOLF"...too bad because we won't know when to believe you when you are telling the truth in the future. |

BetUS sure seems to spend a lot of money on advertising. I recently got more junk mail from them. They never stop!!! I'll never play with that outfit myself. |

If you are a customer and you are being denied access to your funds because of an arbitrary reason completely within their control, they are stealing from you. They may give you the money back in a few days, but for now the money is stolen. If you don't like the term stolen, that's fine. Tell us what you think of what they are doing. I don't cry wolf. I try and warn other posters about the crooked practices of some of these shit holes that unfortunately EOG and other watchdog sites have decided to endorse. The following books have a track record of jerking players around and/or actually stealing players funds. BetRoyal BetUS SBG Global SIA Do you consider what BetUS in the MyFootballGame matter stealing? I do. |

Denying withdraw requests for 12 days while accepting deposits each and every day during that time period is par for the course for these crooks. BETUS STIFFS PEOPLE. Why promote these crooks? Sickening. For the douche bag that says if BetUS announced this shady business practice then its all good. THEY DID NOT!! Just like they do not announce they will steal your money in advance. |

If BETUS is using a holiday season to delay payments (esp. days), then I cannot endorse that practice unless there is more to it that I have not heard from BETUS. |

Nothing more to it General. Will this have any effect on their status here at EOG or is it business as usual? SBR confirmed this is the case. Three separate threads over there on the issue. http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...betus-com.html http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...confirmed.html http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...-com-crap.html |

JC- You are technically wrong. It is not stealing, it is "conversion". Conversion is the illegal control over something belonging to something else. But on principle, you are right. If you sue someone for stealing or conversion, your remedy is the same: recover treble damages (including your original money). It's no wonder these books don't operate in the US - they couldn't steal (oops, edit to convert) players' money then! |

Scummy, yes, but maybe there is something more to it... Perhaps they are going to hightail it after the Superbowl and this is just an attempt to horde as much cash as possible. Didn't Aces Gold do something similar? As recollection serves me, there have been more payout complaints recently have their not? Could be a warning to all... |

Players should use extreme caution with this book. An industry observer wouldnt think this bunch would run off in the middle of the night. However there might be legal problems tied to them. They do have some current problems in their canada operation. Or maybe they are just acting as scummy as they always have and no reason to panic. Those with balances can't withdraw in any case until later next week. We can only hope and speculate for now.

Amazing thing is....all the Bowl games will be finished when they want to release your funds. That couldn't possibly be coincidental could it? |

I messaged mgmt last night about this and asked for explanation. I have not heard back. I want to hear their side as to this apparent take money in but not give money out situation. |
