The cars used Restrictor plates in races including Talladaga last week. are they using them in today's race at Darlington? They're racing on a newly paved track that is said to be real fast. Question With the track being fast already do the Restrictor plates help or not? Would it be Faster with out them ? There is bound to be a lot of wrecks I like that though. I hope Tony Stewart has a good race day today. ![]()

The plates are only for super speedways where speeds reach top end and could land a car in the stands full of people. Really looking forward to the race tonight.

I think people will be driving really defensively with the new surface and all the wrecks. They will just be following each other around the track. Won't be a ton of passing.
