Default Denver Thuggets. Are they finished?

I dont think this team has any heart and is on the verge of a 4 game sweep. Do you all think that the spreadmakers will factor in that Denver might have just quit and won't really show up hard in game 4?

I love going with the 'quit on the season angle'. I guess you can never be 100 pct sure which teams have actually quit on the season, but if you can bet on the teams you THINK have possibly quit on the season, you are going to get a certain amount of 'free' wins.

Is there anyone here who feels that Denver has no backbone and will just roll over and play dead in game 4? After all, the series is over, why delay the inevitable?

it's not a matter of them quitting. it's a matter of them playing a superior team in all facets.

Teams about to be swept in a game #4 are notoriously bad spots for covers. However the line will probably bear that out with a severe adjust. Ain't getting points with the Lakers next time.

Best Wishes...OF

Just checked lines...

Denver who was laying -1/ 1/2 to 2 today is now getting +4 1/2.
Suns who laid 7 1/2 to Spurs now laying 3 1/2.

That is called a severe adjust.

Suns might be good bet. SA may tank game to get one more home game's worth of revenue (like Boston did today)

Problem is Lakers might be reading headlines thinking Nuggets have quit. Nuggets might get their heads out of their ass on Monday night and then lose by 30 in game 5.

Carmelo called out everyone. this team is going to be under a microscope. i can see an incredibly spirited effort from Denver.

or, not.

i think the first step to rehab is to admit the problem.

Nuggets quit yesterday usually a team down 2-0 comes out with energy and makes a competive game.

Even the lowly Hawks beat the celtics yesterday, George Karl look very upset and would forfeit game 4 if they could.

Video of melo saying they quit even the coaches

Carmelo Anthony: We Quit | YOU BEEN BLINDED

"In a game like tonight, on our home court, us giving up as a whole is uncalled for," Anthony fumed. "Yeah. We quit. Everybody. From the coaches to the players, we quit. And I said it."
