| App state gets my vote. That was supposed to be an early season cupcake game and they won.

| How big an upset was the Giants over the Pats? The Giants played them close in week 17...I don't think that qualifies. App State. I don't care how good a 1-AA team is, a 1-AA team beating the then (though slightly overrated) number five team in the country on the road AT ONE OF THE MOST INTIMIDATING HOME FIELDS IN ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL is signficant. That's the second biggest upset ever, never mind last year. |

People recall what they saw LAST - and the last thing they saw between these 2 was NYG over NE. ESPN hyped the Pats almost as much as they did USC before the Rose Bowl game with Texass. In reality The Stanford Trees over USC is the biggest upset but the fact few on the Least Coast saw it hurts it big time App State SHOULD win - NYG WILL win | |

| Few reasons the Giants should win: 1) Biggest game on the planet besides the finale of the World Cup. 2) A 13-point dog in the NFL is enormous and upsets of this magnatude on this scale on this stage just don't happen. 3) Going into the game the Pats were widely considered the greatest team ever to take an NFL field (just look at the stats and records broken) 4) They beat perhaps the greatest QB, maybe WR, coach and offense ever to take the field in the NFL. 5) Two teams at the end of the season playing at the top of their games I know App was huge but an early game with an App team although in a lower division that was a very, very good team. Now Stanford was a big upset but these two games just weren't on the scale as the Super Bowl. |

| Giants Why not app st.? Because yes it was a hugh upset but Michigan was not as good of a team as they have been in past years. If Michigan lost to app st. then went on to go undefeated...then you could make the case for it being the biggest upset. |

| The App State loss was such a big loss for Michigan that they fired the coach. THEY FIRED THE COACH! I didn't see Belichick or Pete Carroll get fired as a result of losing either of those games. A SOUTHERN CONFERENCE team....ON THE ROAD. IN THE BIG HOUSE!! Come on. Lines technically aren't posted for 1-AA games, so let's not make it a math problem. The world of college football literally stopped for a few hours while everyone took in the fact that App State won. I am a SOCON football fan and I couldn't imagine that in my wildest dreams, but I had money on the Giants to win the money line. |
