HOW THE HELL is the kelvin sampson thing a "tragedy"? not like he died and how can it be tragic when HE brought all this upon himself?

what is happening in the MW with all the rain - THAT is tragic! what happened in NYC with the crane collapsing and killing several people - that is tragic. the woman sitting in her boat and killed by a sting ray flying into her boat and hitting her in the head - that is tragic

what happened to Kelvin Sampson is NOT tragic and NO ONE BUT YOU thinks it is.

one more reason why Nantz and Packer (who agreed it was tragic) need to be CANNED ASAP and people with a clue need to be brought in

I like Jim Nantz... and he is correct.. His players think it was a tragedy... It was devastating to those kids and Program that trusted and believed in him. Saying otherwise is just not correct

Have to side with Winky here. This was no tragedy, it was a cheater getting caught. A leopard who could not change his spots, but a known leopard, he was under investigation and his old club got nailed for yes, recruiting infractions. Indiana knew this upon hiring the snake, and still hired him. Then they come off all high and mighty, Indiana basketball is high intergrity. If it was they never would have hired him. What a load. You could turn this story upside down and inside out and not find a tragedy. Nothing tragic here folks, a cheater, who was convicted cheating was trusted not to cheat again. Oops. How tragic.

Agree with winky there rarely is tradegy in sports and I hate when they call someone in sports a hero.

It was tragic he believed in the system he ending up finding out was not what he expected. Then to disgrace his death, they lie about it and cover it up. He had three entry wounds, centimeters apart on his forehead. A forensic specialist said could not have been enemy fire unless he was executed at close range. That entire episode was a total tragedy. We may never here the truth on that one, but I think he was getting ready to tell the truth. And all the guys back in the NFL that said, no way, it ain't my war and I ain't fighting for this corporate government? They ended up being prophets. How tragic is that?

The Marshall team plane crash tragic.

Any player that dies on the field, or is turned into a quadraplegic. Tragic.

Sampson, a disgrace. It's tragic that he violated people's trust again.
