I follow the RED SOX, so I play favorites and to tell the truth I don't follow many farm teams. I follow some prospects, but not teams. What does your team's farm system have in store for the future?? Any future stars we may not have heard of yet? My SOX front office has done a great job over the last few years. Closer - Papelbon [could be the best] RHP - Buchholz [no-hitter in 2007] LHP - Lester [won G4 of the WS] Setup - Delcarman [95-100 mph fastball] 2B - Pedrioa .364 [rookie of the year] CF - Ellsbury .308 [2008 rookie of the year imo] 1b - Youklis .354 [2007 Gold Glove and he will win a batting title imo] SS - Lowrie .375 [the future shortstop, maybe in 2008] not to mention our Japanese players Dice K and Okajima LIFE IS GOOD ON THE SOX FARM!! |

The Marlins and the A's come to mind as teams within the last decade. The BOSOX will win 100+ this year. That team just won't lose. They are the AL Champs without trying. SICK TEAM. |

Speaking of the Red Sox farm system, don't forget players like Hanley Ramirez, who was traded for Josh Beckett. Many people get hyped-up about the records and prospects. The Red Sox just churn them out. Another team in the last 10 years that should be mentioned is the Twins. Made the trade to get minor leagers for AJ Pierzynski. Also developed Morneau, Mauer, Santana. Made trades for more young talent this year, and wouldn't bet against them turning it around fast. |

I think the Halos have been named the best farm system 2 out of the last 4 years.... You can't beat their home grown pitching talent. |

I remember the old tryout camps. Do MLB teams still do that??? Back when I was 19, I tried out for the Royals. Unfortunately, they didn't see any use for a light hitting, slow running 1st baseman/outfielder |

I think the Twins have the most consistant farm system for developing talent to bring up to play at the Major League level. If you compare players that came over through a farm system over the past 15+ years you can't prove otherwise. There have been other systems that have been very good as well, but I think the Twins have been #1. I am a Cub fan. |

the braves have been good for many years now and Escobar will be really good this year. the brewers are very underrated and have a great farm system, thats one club that is doing things the right way. thankfully we seem to be going back to a day of teams keeping their young talent. |

Add Justin Masterson to the list of SOX prospects...6'-6'' RHP made a start against the Angels and was leading 3-1 after 6 inning and 2 hits, but the SOX bullpin blew it!! Fucking up the young boys efforts!! MAY'N!! |
