He made Ariza lose his shot at staying with his home team where his family is located. He could have won another championship. Now he is going to a the rockets who will not be a contendor without TMac, Artest, and Yao. Stupid as move by Ariza Agent. What a dumb ass. |

| Re: Newest Laker = Ron Artest Pretty decent move by LA for the now...really like what Ariza brings and feel he was starting to come into his own towards the end of the year but Artest has proven what he can do and at a decent price for the Lakers. Ariza will help the Rockets down the road who need to rebuild a bit...can't feel great leaving the defending champs and going to a team that will be pretty much a non contender.

There is no more money. That's why I said Ariza going to Houston for the same money LA offered was a bad move for Ariza. The max the Rockets could offer was full MLE which is what the Lakers offered the day before. Ariza agent laughed at Lakers offer so LA signed Artest a better player for the same contract but for shorter years. | |
