Arrow OT: A CLOSE FRIEND COMMITS A CRIME OF PASSION, DO YOU TELL?

Seriously, if you witnessed a close Friend KILL his or her spouse, do you tell the police if questioned or do you keep you mouth shut?

Lets say the guy just walked up to her and blew her away, you ask your buddy why. He said he just had enough of her, and thats that.

Well, this guy is a sick pup and what is to say he wont blow you away some day? This guy has to go. Either your way, or give him away.

If my buddy said his wife cheated, stole all the money, jerked off the paperboy, these are good enough reasons for me to not say a thing.

Forgot, the crime of passion....

I would never say a word.

I had one good friend, banging another good friends girl. I never said nothing about it. It was not my business..My friend is my friend, I have no other business with their women. I ignored the whole thing, thats how well trusted I was in New York. These guys would have actually gunned one another down, that was another reason I mined my business.

Well Linda, At least justice has now been served. I do miss you so much. I know you are in a great place right now and your soul can rest a little easier now. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and the kids.

Why would you want someone as a friend who would murder someone? I'm not speaking of self-defense here, but murder.

Easy to say Shrink. I don't know if you have a daughter, maybe you have a grand daughter. What if she was the one who was murdered and you knew for a fact there was someone who knew what happened but refused to talk?

The people who say they wouldn't say anything, well, somethings wrong there. What about if you knew for a fact your neighbor was getting the shit beat out of her by her husband? What if you knew for a fact that your friend was sexually abusing their kids?

The lack of morals and ethics by some is shocking to say the least.

Murder? I agree with Texansfan. If it happened once it could happen again. Lose that friend, Ken

Are you becoming a party to an obstruction of justice charge? If you are directly questioned and refuse to provide the evidence that you know, without implicating yourself, then you could be putting yourself at risk. If it's a matter of you not coming forward, then that's a different fact situation.

is the key here that you "witnessed it" and did nothing to stop it and legally you could be in some trouble if you talk? Or that by talking you could be implicated as an accessory to her death and face some charges? or is the key question here just protecting a Friend who is in a lot of trouble if you talk?

I have no problem telling on a "friend" that murders someone. Seriously? You guys would keep quiet and let someone roam this earth free when they took that freedom away from someone else? Wow.

I'm 100% with your "opinion" !
It shouldn't be an "opinion"?
I would not hesitate to make that citizen's decision of "responsiblity",a phone call to the police, that's not snitching,it's a responsible ethical choice !

I've had MANY really good friends, at least 10. But only 2 "best" friends"! One was married and I also considered her as close as I could be, to a woman I hadn't fucked. THAT would have been a problem. The original Q was "heat of passion". So I'm assuming Bob caught her in the act. If so NO I wouldn't say a word. Cold blooded murder would change things. I may still have kept silent?

If I run across any information regarding a crime which involves or threatens physical personal injury to another person, I'm tellin.' You can do what you want until you hurt or threaten another person.

(Caveat: this rule does not apply if I am acting in the capacity of my day job. Different rules apply to me there.).

you start the thread with the word "seriously", post the dumbest question imaginable, and insert a smilie munching popcorn at the end of it? really??

why not ask rapists to pm you with "their take on the experience" and have some crackerjacks while you wait like its a double feature at the local cineplex?
