| Many years ago there was a kid on my block that was an assistant manager at McDonalds. He left the back door open at closing time and his 4 buddies came in and took 4 boxes of game pieces out the back door. I'm tight with the man next door and his kid was one of the 4 buddies. Each box contained thousands of the little prize pieces. About 7 of us spent hours and hours tearing these little papers open. For our efforts we collected maybe $100.00 in instant prizes, burgers, fries and sodas for the whole block for months and NONE of the coveted prize pieces. Your odds are better of hitting the lottery 3 times and getting hit by lightning all in the same day. |

Sounds like what I would expect. Probably better off sticking to the dollar menu and not even buying the value meals.

| I won a $100 instant prize 2 years ago. The 2 previous contests were MUCH BETTER with the guaranteed Best Buy bucks. This year, you only have a 50% chance of getting any TRUS bucks, which we dont need anyway. I have $7 in TRUS bucks that I dont need already. |

| The MAIN problem with the Toyrus bucks is that they are limited to just $5 at a time I believe. McDonalds even coined the term "stackable" for this contest! Last year at Best Buy, you could use up to $300 on one transaction. It is only $5 each at Toys |

| The first time they ran it I ended up with severe digestive problems due to a steady diet of McD's. No more. |

| Seeing these odds are really making this seem less fun. I think I'd be better off going to Wendy's and buying the 10 frosty coupon book for $1. |

| Yeah, I agree with you guys about winning with just the gamepieces. But I have already one a hundred dollars online, just by entering the codes. And so far have only spent about 40. This site has some more info about the mcdonalds promotion Mcdonalds Monopoly Game Promotion and Contest Information The site is sorta nerdy, but they did just make a decent post on how to get extra game piece codes. |

I can top that, When I was in my younger days, we did a lot of truck hijacking. One time we got an entire truckload of Wonka Bars. Remember that scene where Faruka Salt's dad has his entire factory opening bars? That was my crew, we sat there for days unwrapping bars, at least a thousand cases, and not one fuckin golden ticket. Never tried that again. Best Wishes...OF ![]()
