Well once again, the Monopoly game is underway at McDonalds and yours truly already went out of his way ordering an large size Premium Chicken value meal just to get 6 game pieces instead of the normal 2 or whatever. Every year I get sucked into this thing. With today's game pieces, I've already won a small McFlurry, a $1 Toys R Us coupon, and 10% off at Foot Locker. Does anyone else get as hooked on this as me when they have this? And do you end up ordering the $6+ value meal that you don't even want just to get more game pieces? Have you ever grouped together with others to pool pieces together in hopes of actually getting the 2 or 3 colored properties together for a good prize? ![]()

Lately for breakfast stuff, I've usually been getting the $1 sausage biscuits. The 99 cent breakfast menu at the Wendy's (across the street from my McDonald's) has been pretty good lately also.

I guess everyone is getting that 10% off at Foot Locker for their so-called "guaranteed bonus" prize. What a joke. How is getting 10% off of shoes that are like 50% overpriced a bonus?

As someone who uses the McDonald's in the Stratosphere as his centrally-located office between the Strip and Downtown every weekend, I can tell you Nevada is not in on this Monopoly deal. Having lived in Mexico for a few years, I feel that I have gained enough proficiency in Spanish to walk into any McDonald's in America and be able to order food. I want my Monopoly coupons! But none are forthcoming.

Have to admit that I don't like the crossainwiches too much at BK. I still end up getting a biscuit there of somesort instead. Anything on their breakfast dollar menu is not bad really.

They do and years ago McDonald's had a big problem with the whole Monopoly contest getting -bad- publicity when some of the most valuable pieces out there were stolen. The people involved all got in trouble but the integrity of the contest has not been the same since. Now at least they add all this extra crap like the $1 Toys R Us coupon or 10% off at Foot Locker. Probably more instant winners for food also just so people don't feel so screwed not winning the bigger prizes.

It's a total scam. Last go round you could check the classified ads and every knucklehead in the world was advertising have every piece but Boardwalk, will share prize. No shit. How gullible can you get? Have a better chance getting a wonka bar golden ticket than a monopoly boardwalk. The golden arches suck in a lot more gold on this promo. I must admit, one of the all time best marketing ploys. Best Wishes...OF ![]()
