Both the flash banner and the listing in the Top 10 aren't actually on the site any longer, have not been since early afternoon before Shrink made the announcement -- refresh your browers.

Its fucking hilarious to watch Rick over there claiming he has standards because some books don't advertise there and "It ain't by their choice". Sure Rick...

Always a good move when you stand for fairness and what's right! In reality this will keep other books on their toes and give confidence to the posters here that someone really represents them.

Thanks for keeping it real Shrink & EOG family!

That's what you'll have when you do the right thing General. These forums have to take care of the player. They need to be the #1 priority, after that the rest will take care of itself.

LOL talk about spinDOCTORING (the best kind of doc Shrink is).

This was a SHIT SHIT SHIT (sorry trytrytry) book back when they added them a few months ago. EXTREMELY slow pays and some no pays (paying with bad checks after weeks or months of stalling. And that was BEFORE they were added.

So now that everything has finally caught up with them and people can't be fooled anymore they get called out and removed as an advertiser? Obviously the checks they were writing didn't improve enough or something. But at least Shrink got soem money out of them I guess, and some good publicity for this move of "integrity". people's sense of integrity is slightly skewed I guess, they NEVER should have been added as a sponsor anyway. But a party and some free contests buys alot of good will I assume.

it is so funny the people here bashing them, I am sure they all lined up for the free food and free contest they were offering, talk about hypocritical. When you live in that glass house you surely shouldn't be casting stones at it.

I also would like to know how this effects the "long standing" relationship Shrink has with the "head man" there. I am sure it is like all the others he has with every onther head guy he has met that he has sacrificed... "don[t worry come back in a few months with a different name and we'll do it all over again. Designated sacrificial lambs to keep Shrink looking good I guess. But it pays well I suppose.

Eliminating these guys as a sponsor is like letting your Pedophile relative (with a trust fund) move in, and after he molests all your kids you drag him through the streets crying ot the roof tops about how bad a guy he is. (but only after he won't pay you more to keep your mouth shut.

I'll agree with you that Shrink shouldn't let a lot of these guys on the site to begin with, but let's give credit where credit is due.....EOG did the right thing in this case. As long as Shrink and the rest of the EOG gang go to bat for the player when they're getting screwed by a book....that's the most important thing.

Thanks Ralph,

I know we haven't always seen eye to eye lately, but at least you appear to be an honest and intelligent man who understands the big picture, without agendas...

On the other hand, wantitall has always been a bitter man, and his anger seems to be aimed at me.

Just do a search on all of his posts and you will understand he has some serious issues...

Thanks everyone for your feedback including you wantitall...

There is no justification for allowing posters to get stiffed. We still are asking other sites to help SBR and EOG out...

Posters need to make it VERY CLEAR on other sites that they don't appreciate a thief sports book to be promoted, and try not to make it about eog/sbr vs rx etc, when it's not about this at all!

I am speaking with other ELITE sports books to also put some pressure on gambling portals to do the right thing here but I need help!

We have powers in numbers so stand up for what you believe in!

Thanks,

THE SHRINK

I contacted a buddy of ours in Curaηγo earlier. He's going to e-mail me some important contact info. that could be helpful to the players in question. You may already have it, it's for the gaming commissions there. I'll pass it on as well as any other contacts he may have if you like.

It is not anger, it is comon sense and speaking the truth. As far as I know I have never said anything that wasn't true. So if you again want to spin that as having anger issues or whatever sobeit. But feel free to search my posts it will probably also shed some light on all these new comers that don't know the LENGTHY history you and your sites have had with these issues.

Just add these guys to the growing list I guess. It is a common M.O. with you. But when a majority of the books you have advertising are shit then it isn't a surprise. Swin with sharks long enough you get bit I suppose.

My only "agenda" is trying to speak the truth to the best of my knowledge. Sure I will throw in some editorial comments here and there, but all are backed by facts from the past that cannot be denied. While some conjecture was made here it surely fits the past action of yourself in these matters.

The biggest irony is that B.O.S. went out of business before you could make a post like this about them, so you missed that oppurtunity unfotunately, but this one has seemed to make a big enough splash to over come it.

And as far as integrity goes. I am the guy who came all the way downtown at your bash at the Nugget to give you that 20 bux for that poker tournament you had entered me in months previously when you had "turned" the corner and were only allowing "quality" books to advertise here, so I gave you the benefit of the doubt at that point. Unfortunately that transformation didn't last too long.

WOW talk about spinning. Taking a thread that NOONE can confirm or deny because a lot of books cheat (obviously) and none of them have the same model, and comparing that to you allowing STIF books to advertise here.

Not sure how that thread has anything to do with why you allow so many thieves to advertise with you, and why you have led peopel to the slaughter of these scumbags for nearly a decade.

ut nice try I guess. then again you and your deciples here can have your own little world i suppose, the people that get killed were goign to get killed anyway and you helping them along puts money in your pocket so that's how you justify it.

but ANYONE that thinks you taking down this book as an advertiser has ANYTHING to do with you being a "good" guy or a guy with "integrity" has completely bought into the hype and been drinking way too much kool aid. it is, as i said just a predictable step in the enigma that you have created around yourself. but anyone with half a brai, or at least an original thought of their own, or not on the pay roll or sold out to you, knows the reaility behind it.

Your inability to find a RELEVANT post by me about this pretty much proves my point. Feel free to bump a post where I had the wrong side picked in a football game as "proof" I don't tell the truth. LMAO talk about reaching.

AcesGold is wantitall4moi's "model" book ... the book that "understood" ... and just "timed it" wrong ... what more is there to say?

The bottom line is that wantiitall shows signs of having an "inferiority complex" ... he lashes out at people in general ... he lashes out at Fezzik and Shrink ... tries to dis the "math guys" ... he tries to dis other professionals ... and keeps telling us how he wins and wins and wins ... here's a message for him:
Maybe you don't have an inferiority complex ... maybe you really are inferior ...
... either way, you're slowly become irrelevant.

first let me say, excellent decision shrink. i'm glad you did it & hope you continue in that stance. but the issue does beg a question that 'wantitall' touched on:

you have repeatedly and very clearly said in the past that by putting up a banner here you are not advocating that people should play at a book, only that they are a paid advertiser here. this recent decision seems to contradict that. as i said before, i'm glad you've booted 'em & i think the players in the offshore world are dying for the type of forum-book-player relationships like they used to be, where there was accountability & a forum's rep actually meant something. i think the overwhelmingly positive response in this thread is evidence of that need.

so is this a shift in policy from here forward, or is this a one-time event?
