the means by which hache is spreading said encouragement is obviously by posting it at other places, such as that shithole you guys still call a forum.

Anyone that takes anything wantitall4moi

Says is crazy. The guy never comes around unless he wants to bitch and then he writes pages upon pages of BS. His posts are so long and rambling he likes to spin and bend the facts about the issue at hand to make himself try and look smart. But anyone with a brain realizes this after the first 2 sentences

so is this a shift in policy from here forward, or is this a one-time event?
Very good comment and let me address it...

Our policy hasn't changed (as of yet)...

As most of you know, there are a few sponsors on EOG that I cannot wholeheartedy endorse.

However, EOG will examine every dispute/situation as they develop and make decisions based on the merits of each case...

This one is a no brainer because sportsbook.com is blatantly stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from over 30 different gamblers no matter how anyone spins it!!!

SBR asked for support, so we gave it to them...

Exclamation Re: SPORTSBETTING.COM DROPPED AS A SPONSOR- WE ENCOURAGE ALL OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!

As an affiliate marketer i was also screwed by sportsbook.com. I had a white label deal with sportsbook.com to promote www.abcsportsbook.com. Prior to me promoting ABC, it had very little revenue and almost 0 daily players. After almost 1 year of working 14 hours days, I was able to get the site ranked very high in the search engines for top keywords. I also did my own CPA deals with other sites out there to get more players in. After all that work I was averaging 300 active players/day during football season. The site itself generated around $80k in revenue/month. My share of the revenue was 35%. At the end of the year I was told that I would be able to sell my share out for 5 times the amount I made on the site on the year. That total would come out to 500k. I even met with one of the big dogs who shall remain nameless for security purposes in Miami (Has his own book and has been on CNBC). This guy is a multimillionaire and has a 10 million dollar mansion in Miami. In October he and his pal has the nerve to tell me that the deal is over because of the UIEGA that was passed and I would receive nothing from then on. Comes to find out, he is still operating the site and making money off my blood sweat and tears. I do not understand how someone with that much money can screw me out of what is rightfully mine. Since then I have been forced into bankruptcy and am just barely scraping by. Haven't received a dime from them. I got everyhting on paper. I saw this post and figured I could let everyone know what they are all about. They are all crooks..

Thanks, yeah total B.S. i don't know how people like that can live with themselves. Its the same as if someone who owned a bakery stole a donut from a starving kid in third world country. These people have no shame.

This is starting to remind me of BOS'S attitude, where I believe the thus far, sportsbook.com believes they are so big that the forum business won't even put a dent into the overall scheme of things for them..

The Theives have released a statement

Sportsbook.com Statement

Recently it was brought to our attention that a very small number of our customers were placing wagers which were in breach of our house rules. Most of these customers were repeatedly warned about their behavior but continued to circumvent the rules by exploiting a loophole in our system. The decision was made to remove the winnings earned from these wagers dating back to September 1st 2007.

There has been some question as to why the similar losing bets were also not cancelled or 'no-actioned'. When we reviewed the accounts in question, the bulk of wagering activity was made up of those wagers which were clearly in violation of the house rules. Any player who believes that the removal of their winnings from these disallowed bets should also apply to their losing disallowed bets can contact us at expedite@sportsbook.com for an account review. We will then contact them directly to review, bet by bet, their account history.

If upon a second review of the account the decision remains that the customer repeatedly and knowingly exploited the system in order to place those wagers, then no further action will be taken. If we are satisfied that a minority of their wagers contravened the house rules, then we will also no action any losing wagers of that type within the same timeframe.

Please note we will not discuss any individual players accounts in public forums.

We have already taken steps to prevent any such occurrence again in the future and will work closely with any affected customers to resolve this matter in a timely fashion.

Thanks for your understanding.

ken;

I think it would be a good idea for you guys to cut and paste SBR's grading of each and every new sponsor in your "Welcome" thread for that particular book. That way people don't have to leave the site to have a pretty good idea what they're dealing with.

Think it would resolve a lot of the concerns some have for "newbies" that don't do or are unaware of the places to go to research offshores. JMO.

One thing would help the players and of course the forum industry is for the top books to support these sites. With mass advertising fading into the past it makes good business sense too.

The Gen/Ken, Dozer, Wilhiem, Russ and others spend a lot of time being buffers and supplying good consulting.

Forums lost great sponsors like Pinnacle, WWTS, Hollywood, Bet365, Bodog and many others when the new laws were passed.

Somehow we need to get ALL the A books back so we can work on isolating the books that players are not safe in. Its good for the players and its good for the top books.

Great point John but the big question is how do you convince them to spend those advertising $$'s or support $$'s when from their point of view they have the best form of advertising already...and it's free.

Word of mouth.

good one liner, ken, these guys read too much into a little link...like i said in another thread: any newbie who sees one link (SBG, for example) also sees 16 other links and naturally sets out to do some research.

SBR specializes in its ratings and does a fine job, imo....this site EOG is just fun/free and Shrink actively participates in most of the threads, he really does not sidestep the tougher questions and issues. This is one of shrink's specialties.. also EOG has TONY MONTANA!!!!

Let's face it, EOG is the funnest gambling forum around I am giving EOG an A and SBR an A-, basically the same rating that SBR gave Cascade...like i said your ratings are xlnt, no gambling forum is going to be perfect

Keep up the great work guys, great to see you supporting each other!!!

The reason the offshore gaming industry has ratings is because it has no standards.
