There's a thread on SBR that has been going on since early July. It seems a customer of BetOnUSA, which has been acquired by Oddsmaker, is owed about $85,000. The BetOnUSA/Oddsmaker clerk acknowledged the balance in a chat session so it is in their system. BetOnUSA's position is that the liability remains with BetOnUSA's previous owner, the Jazzette Group, which is also an advertiser on EOG. Unless they can prove otherwise, BetOnUSA/Oddsmaker owes this money to the player. They purchased BetOnUsa, they acknowledged the balance in their system, and they have failed to produce any proof that this debt belongs to Jazzette. When a customer has a balance at a book, it is the book that is responsible for it regardless of who owns the book. If BetOnUSA/Oddsmaker really believes they do not owe this and this, it is their duty to put together a three way phone call with themselves, whoever they purchased BetOnUSA from at Jazzette, and the Shrink. This should have been resolved in a matter of days, not months. Until BetOnUSA/Oddsmaker pays this man, they are a stiff book and should be avoided by all players. Three months is more than enough time to figure out who owes the man. It's in your system, you acquired BetOnUSA. Pay the man! http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...-betonusa.html From the chat: (post #106) . jackpot: ...................... Is my balance 85053.82? I been waiting almost 2 weeks - is there any time frame ? Anne: yes it is the balance... |

Who in the hell would ever have a balance that high at betonusa? That's a bigger gamble then betting a 10 game parlay with your mortgage money. |

The guy won a jackpot over $100,000. He's not a big player. He's entitled to his money. |

I looked at that oddsmaker thread on SBR (linked to above) and sounds like the player has been paid around 50%, really it is tough to calculate the amount of the stiffmoney based on what has been posted to date |

The percentage doesn't matter. He is presently owed $85,000. Shrink, what are they telling you? |

I'm said player. Long story short. Bored at home - haven't used my account in years - put 50 bucks in to play cards. (I had no idea about ratings never had problem in past etc) oops no card room anymore - played some horseracing. then went into casino. Hit progressive jackpot for 115,000 . Sent in signed and notarized affidavit, license, and pic. This was approved. Payouts started coming slowly - took about 4-5 weeks for the first one. Then I was getting processed emails almost daily. I could only withdrawal 2 a day at 2500 a pop. I put in 46 total requests = 115000 I received 12 total for 30,000. Site went down for it "new release". My account was set to inactive when the platform came back up. I've been getting the run around for 5 weeks now. 85,053 and some change currently in my account which is still "in verification" status. Thanks for any help and support you guys give/get |

BigDaddy, I know you sometimes can't see it from our side but with all the stress, I welcome humor as a relief... But looking at it from your side, I can understand why you may not find some of the things to be funny that I do... The one constant i have always admired about you is being a straight shooter... Thanks, Ken | |
