Radio stations did NOT announce who was singing in, it was billed as a "mystery artist".....looking back it sounded as if it could have been like a George Michael, or someone like that, but the artist wasnt announced til after the song had charted.....the artist was hoping to recreate his image, and didnt want his past bubble gum songs to hinder his pop aspirations...looking back, you wouldnt have guessed it was him, and its a pretty damn good song.....reached #2 on the pop charts as well... the follow up was a damn good song as well |

In the late 80s I worked concert security for a few 100 shows. best ones were AC/DC, Bon Jovi and a few others because the "scenery" was beyond sensational but the one i liked listening to the most was Mostly because this is one of my ALL-TIME FAVE movies - LOVED this movie - all the great lines, too (Think McFly, THINK!) |
