agreed about the offense/pen..and i would also say cubs have a much better offense. they are already starting to get going a bit, although they seem to rely a lot on HR's right now. but with lee/soto heating up, and ramirez coming back they'll be fine.

i think harden's risk factor though offsets his adv due to his offense. cubs pen not that pretty either with marmol the walk machine and gregg closing out games.

looking over the deal right now..not bad just not sure im getting enough for cueto. you got a top 15 OF for edwin, and cueto has just as much pts. has a better ERA than guys like gallardo, bills, josh johnson..

would you be able to put in kaz instead of wakefield?

wake just doesn't have that much pts for a guy that has 10 wins this year..so once his offense starts scoring less for him he'll be borderline useless.

i dont see boston scoring less, if anything more now that papi is coming back around.. instead of wake i could do bannister or volstad ( i think i would rather have wake imo if i was you)

Longoria is streaky so as soon as i get rid of him he'll go for a 40 pt week.

they will end up around even imo, harden has settled down and will for sure outscore cueto the 2nd half, i dont see that as a question.. is harden more of an injury risk? sure, but he could also be the #1 pitcher the 2nd half with the stuff he has, he is a risk vs reward pitcher, who already had his time on the DL for the season

Which also included Ortiz. If it was a month ago, I would've taken it. I didn't invest in him, and hold on to him this long, to get rid of the guy when he finally starts hitting. (even though this week his production is down again)

would agree if it was a blowout, but it was a tight game and they ended up losing. maybe they feel like they can afford to take games easy right now though, which is true since they all but have the div wrapped up anyways.

ttp- sent ya something big. i think you get the 2 best players in the deal, but i get a bit more depth for my pitching.

having lince/haren/burnett/danks/lilly/rj as your rotation would be pretty nasty, and you improve your hitting IMO.
