I agree. They didn't. A 3 is the dagger for the series. Boston wouldn't have been able to recover from losing game 1 in that fashion. |

Here's why it was impossible to strictly go for a 3 in that spot. Boston had a foul to give, which meant they could not think last shot with no time left, it would have been too risky to sit on it as time wound down, they got a great look and he just missed it. He would make that layup 96/100 times (it was a twisting layup so it wasn't that easy but none the less he makes it almost everytime) |
