Default This site gives me hope

First of all I would like to say congrats to everyone involved with this site.
Secondly after seeing Jay's article it gives me hope that EOG will not take on books with more than questionable reputation and owners like other so called watchdog sites.

It may not be perfect but will not go as low as other "watchdog" sites have gone in the past few months taking on books like BOS, Royal and other scam operations.

I hope EOG makes other "watchdog" sites a bettorsworld in the coming months.

Truthteller,

Thank you for noticing one of the things what we are trying to accomplish here at EOG...

I will be the first to admit that I have made MANY mistakes in the past, and one of them was accepting advertising revenue from questionable sports books...

When we decided to launch EOG a few months back, ALL of the people involved with this web site believed that in order to be amongst the BEST, we had to not only "talk the talk," but "walk the walk" as well...

It has not been easy to reject some sponsors who are my FRIENDS because their sports book may not be one of the ones we wish to endorse.

Furthermore, I can't advocate going to web sites who take ad money from KNOWN THIEVES because there are enough GOOD sports books out there to avoid having to jeopardize your integrity and more importantly, other gamblers' MONIES!!!...

My dream would be to witness other sports books and posters IGNORE supporting places like this and I believe this process is starting to happen...

Very shortly you will see one of the most recognized and arguably the NUMBER 1 SPORTS BOOK pull their advertising from a popular gambling portal because they didn't want to be affiliated with a place who promotes marginal sports books...

I can't say I blame them...

I would agree with TT.

Many websites and mods and even posters are being paid by the thieves of this industry to misslead new players and coverup past slow and no pays.

Its not the industry that is scum its the people who sell out and work for thieves that make seem that way.

Good luck Ken. Vegas not the same without you and Pete.

Shrink, I always thought if I were an owner of a top book why would I advertise at a site where they have blantant thieves next to my banner. I hope more and more books start doing this.

SBR, I think you have the best list of recommended books with EOG catching up. I find it ironic that they constantly attack you over at MW when all of them are on Tej's payroll.
MW and OGD should never attack people when they are taking money from such thieves as Royal.

Why the change of heart now? Concerning accepting sportsbooks' money, I mean. It's good to see you trying to change your old policy, so I do wish you luck. cheers

Jazz,

You may or may not remember, but I was ROBBED out of a considerable amount of money by a sports book named SBG GLOBAL...

Therefore, I KNOW FIRSTHAND how SICKENING it feels to be VICTIMIZED by a shady sports book...

As for "why now?"

Why NOT NOW?

Ahh - but I'm sure you've profited far more from other books for whatever reasons than you ever lost at SBG - just consider it 'overhead expense', like those who were in Betpanam and other similar books found at the old digs did. That's why I always keep a jar of Vaseline next to my monitor, to remind me to get ready to lube myself if I join a shady book.

Anyway, good luck with the new policy. cheers

Thanks Jazz...

I appreciate you giving EOG a chance and I will try not to disappoint. The thought of you LUBING yourself isn't a pleasant one...

At the very least, can't you get someone else to do that for ya? dog1

Used to have a partner but he left his long-time home recently for brand-new environs - ah, well, gotta make coffee

p.s. These automated smilies for words like 'c-o-f-f-e-e' and 'k-i-c-k' are annoying, hopefully they'll be turned off at some point?

Jazz,

We will get on this first thing Monday and add some better ones too.

Our programmer never realized that naming them like we have causes problems when posters type in the same name...

It's hard to justify a new or known problematic sports book aside the list we have assembled here.

I agree that opinions can and do change but a persons morals and underlying ethos should be unwavering. If someones moral compass changes depending on the situation that is a pretty good indication that nothing was there to begin with.

Simply unfucking believeable. From taking a stand, to one of the worst websites in cyberspace at promoting thieves. The who's who of scamming, thieving, robbing sportsbooks.

Why are any of you surprised at this turn of events Ken has pulled? He's been a whore to the almighty dollar since he's been on the internet. Do any of you really think he gives a rat's ass about YOUR money? The Shrink gets indignant when someone tries to f^ck him out of his money, not you out of yours.
