Default Rake Back?

What is the best place for new players to play to get rake back? Rake Back is a HUGE part of a savvy poker player's profits.

From what I understand WPEX is the best. They give 75% Rakeback each I do believe

Rake Back: How Does It Work?

Play at the World Poker Exchange tables will be just as it has always been. The only change is that 75% of the money you contribute to the 'rake' will be returned to your account each week.

During your playing sessions at WPX, the rake will continue to be taken from each pot in accordance with our established Rake Structure. In our game client cashier, however, you will find a section specifying the following information:

1) The total amount of the rake return you have earned since the introduction of our Rake Back poker

2) The amount of the rake return you have earned for the current week, which will be credited to your account on the date specified

If we will be returning the full amount of the rake to you each week, you may wonder, why do we take it in the first place? It’s a reasonable question with a simple answer: so you can see for yourself how much you’re saving by playing at World Poker Exchange. Once you realize the extent to which the rake affects your chances of being a profitable poker player, we believe you won’t want to play anywhere else.

And remember that it is not only cash-game players who will benefit from our Rake Back poker: the fees for all of our tournaments will be refunded to players’ accounts each week as well. This is another feature you will find only at WPX.

The World Poker Exchange Rake Back process is fully automated, and is part of our proprietary software. Please note that it will therefore not be possible for your rake to be returned to you prior to the scheduled weekly reimbursement date.

We believe poker should be a fun, discounted service available to all our customers, rather than a means to “rake” them over the coals. With the advent of Rake Back poker, World Poker Exchange is now the only place where it truly pays to play.

no, under no circumstances should you play at WPEX.

The best place for rakeback is to sign up at a major rakeback site and play at Full Tilt. Personally, I use raketherake, but there's tons of legit ones out there. The max that you can get is 27%, so if somebody is promising more than that at Full Tilt, they are either lying or doing something unethical.

If you play tons and tons of poker and can qualify for the higest tier player rewards levels at Poker Stars (Supernova or Supernova elite), then you can get much higher than 27% in rewards even though Stars doesn't offer 'rakeback' per se.

I have been playing at Full Tilt for almost 2 years now and I never heard of anything like that. You mean to tell me I could have been getting more money? =(

Sorry to say so but yes. Full Tilt is one of the few big sites that allow rakeback. You can try email their support to see if your account can be used for rakeback by any of the rakeback sites. Most times they don't allow it after you created and played on your account, but perhaps you are lucky.

Wsex software is horrible.

They have very few players, and I can understand why.

Thumbs down!

senile-

as somebody said, you are pretty much out of luck. maybe it's worth a shot, but they are notorious for not letting existing accounts receive rakeback. sorry

You guys are absolutely right. I contacted customer service and my name is being added to a "list" in case they ever decide to change that. When im finished school and can dedicate 8 or so hours a day to play I am going to create another account, so I can qualify for the first time deposit bonus plus the rakeback offer.
