    Real Madrid -200 (FIRST HALF) at VALENCIA +850, Draw: +185 Total 1 1/2u -142

Another Sunday game (ESPND, 2:20 pm EDT/12:20 pm PDT), this match is the biggest one of the weekend in Spainís La Liga and features first-place Real Madrid traveling to third-place Valencia. is offering many individual game bets on this match including this first half, three-way line which I believe is the best approach to betting this game in which Los Blancos are a heavy -600 favorite in the 90-minute odds.

With studs like Cristiano Ronaldo (37 goals), Gonzalo Higuain (20), Benzema (17), Kaka (5), Angel Di Maria (5), Mesut Ozil (14 assists) and Xabi Alonso (7 assists), Real Madrid is a force to be reckoned with and may end up playing rival Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League championship next month in Munich Germany if it can defeat Bayern Munich in the semifinal legs.

Heading into play this weekend, Ronaldo & Company were the only team in Europe with 100 or more goals (100) and have allowed just 27 to date. Real Madrid is 12-2-1 (wins-draws-losses) away from home and has outscored La Liga opponents 40-10 in those matches.

With Barcelona winning on Saturday, Real Madridís lead in the league is just two points now (78-76) so I expect a top-notch performance from the first whistle and for manager Jose Mourinho to start all his best players in this important game at Valencia, a team never to be taken lightly.

Real Madrid won the first meeting 3-2 on Nov. 19 at home at the Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.

FIRST HALF PREDICTION: Real Madrid 2 Valencia 0

    BET: Real Madrid -200

FULL GAME PREDICTION: Real Madrid 3 Valencia 1

An auspicious debut to say the least...

Two picks, zero goals, just one goal against (87", Arteta) and two losses for a -3.0 units (I think that's how it works) to start at EOG. Such is sports gambling.

And only in soccer can a 1-0 (Arsenal-MC) and 0-0 (Valencia-RM) game provide such a result What's worse, Manchester City and Real Madrid are two of the highest paid and most valuable franchises in all professional sports.

Back to the drawing board and to think I decided against posting two Aussie Rules Football games [North Melbourne (-78.5) over Greater Western Sydney (W 183-54) and St. Kilda (-53.5) over Gold Coast] that both won easily as the masses don't really follow them.

The story of gambling and my life. And as we all know, NOTHING is easy in this world or in the sportsbooks around town. Even finding a fucking parking space...

    NHL: 0-0
    NBA: 0-0
    SOCCER: 0-2

    TOTAL ATS: 0-2
