In Brisbane, Popular 2012 Olympian Jeff Horn (13-0-1) faces his toughest test to date in knock out artist Randall Bailey (46-8). Bailey is 41 years old, but he went 2-0 in 2015 with two KO wins and he has been in there with the likes of Miguel Cotto in his long career. This is a step up fight for Horn, who has faced mid level competition until now. Bailey is no longer a world beater, but he is a solid gatekeeper.

Tokyo has three WBA world title fights on tap, and two are already at the books. Long time super featherweight champion Takashi Uchiyama (24-0-1) is facing hard hitting Jezreel Corrales (19-1) of Panama. Uchiyama enters the favorite as usual, but at 36 years old, he is facing a man a dozen years younger who can hit. Uchiyama also tendered offers to fight outside of his native Japan, but he chose to take the route of comfort and fight at home again.

The co-feature sees Super Flyweight champion Kohei Kono (31-8-1) defend his title against Inthanon Sithchamuang (28-7-1) of Thailand. Kono comes in a big favorite. He is coming off an impressive win in Chicago over countryman Koki*Kameda, who was 33-1 at the time. The win over Kameda gave Kono three defenses of his world title, and bragging rights at home. The win sent Kameda into retirement. Kameda is an outlaw type of figure in Japan so it had the effect of *raising Kono's stock considerably. This fight is a bit of a gift for Kono, as he isa huge favorite.
